Head Rush was ever good?

Honey head rush wasn't that good in the first place...

I just went three times through the Undead Realm with Hex and she didn't get a scratch.

Heeeeyyyy! Head Rush is one my favs, top 15 for me for sure! But really all those Skylanders mentioned are considered to be on the "bad" side by most. Sprocket is my most hated Skylander of all and yet some people seem to love her. I think it's all a matter of how you use the characters and getting to know their abilities well.

I have a feeling (but never got around to proving) that they weakened all the old characters so you'd want to go out and buy a new character that can actually do some damage. I seem to recall some bizarre changes, like a character used to do something like 32 damage now does a mere 8 in the newest game? That really ticked me off at the time as it made a lot of Skylanders useless. I had expected them to be exactly the same as the prior games but that rarely seemed to happen. I was really glad Gearshift remained basically the same in SC, but I'm expecting her to be nerfed this time around as she's probably the most OPed of them all, so much so that I can beat SC with just her alone (assuming the stupid driving parts don't kill her off).

I didn't get Imaginators yet, but when I do, I'll be testing my favs out to see how they do. There are two already nerfed ones that I really care about if they made better or left them crappy. Flashwing used to be awesome as she could heal herself pretty quickly whenever she needed to, but that was done away with in later games. Now she can barely lay down any heal crystals and it takes forever once you do find places to heal. Magna Charge used to be able to chuck baddies over the side and made Swap Force a breeze when combined with a speedy bottom half, but they put up invisible walls or something to prevent chucking baddies out in TT.

The invisible walls in SC are definately there vertically but can't say on the ground, since Nightfall occasionally makes stuff fall through the floor.

Both TFB and VV are notoriously bad in balancing and power creep, so we can't even count on the next game doing any better.

I tried Snap Shot, High Five, Tree Rex, Spyro, Rocky Roll, High Volt, Splat, Fiesta, Nightfall, Astroblast, Pop Thorn, Stormblade, Bat Spin (which is still a beast), Thrillipede, Smash Hit, Blackout and Ghost Roaster and they all worked fine.

I think they even somehow fixed some of SuperChargers' problems with animations and attacks: even the hit-stun, while still there, is less annoying.

Haven't tried Magna Charge yet but I've definitely thrown enemies off the islands, and quite often.
Pretty sure you can't fall from most of the areas though.

I noticed that hitstun is only there for the Skylanders VV released which is very weird...

King Pen and Fire Knight might but as for Crash and Cortex, they were made by VV as they are also making the HD remakes

It's an online expression of disagreement. It's what people usual make when they make a small laugh at something they don't agree with.

For me it's a small chuckle, at least that's the noise I make.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Smolderdash is basically unplayble since every whipslash has a hitstun, I don't even know how I finished the Fire Realm in under 30 minutes.

The enemies in the final level sure are something else.

Expert seems a little too easy, hopefully nightmare will kick things up a bit.

I haven't tried Contagion, but Soul Stealer is AWESOME. Its upgrade also lets the orbs of health hurt enemies as they float toward you!

theyre pretty good from what i've found.
contagion summons a damaging ring of toxic stuff and bugs that surrounds you for a quite a while.

Soul stealer is really handy, its not great for big enemies, but you create a sudden damaging aura/area that steals the health of what you defeat with it. its good on chompies etc that only take 1 or 2 hits to take out. you can still use it as a finisher on big enemies too though.

As far as i have tested so far its the only "heal" move that imaginators have access too, so its pretty nice.

Well, what playstyle do you prefer?

Unrelated, I inspected Kaos and the Dark Senseis a little closer, and discovered that the Darks have a slightly lighter shade of black than Kaos does. Kaos' base is also glossier. Interesting little detail, IMO.

For melee attacks, Ambush and Hood Sickle are excellent. For ranged attacks, definitely go for Starcast or Krankcase.

If you want pure power, go tri-tip or hood sickle.

For speed, go krankcase or ambush.

for a good mix of power and speed- go chopscotch.

I've tried using the bomb on the but even after grinding down on the vines it explodes before I get close enough. I've used all my fastest Skylanders from Magna Charge to Blast Zone.

It worked for me with Chopscotch....

Isn't there another bomb that's closer? Maybe try a Giant. I think they can still break bomb walls.
