While playing imaginators, I noticed the superchargers can no longer be supercharged in story missions (haven't tried racing yet) and the message please remove vehicle during story mode appears
I for one am a little dissapointed it didn't come back but not really surprised since it is activision.

The 'supercharging' only applied to the vehicle though, it didn't do anything to the skylanders themselves did it?

lol vehicles are worse then that, you cant ever really use yours for racing ether. You scan it in once and the game "unlocks it" for you, from then on you select it in the menu to get a stock version of it with none of your progress from SC's... basically scan them and bin them...

The mods are there (but do not load from the toys so you have to mod in the menus). But none of the Paid add-ons from the robot vender are in Imagionators at all (and will not show up if on your vehicle).

All mods are there, and they are all unlocked, even if you use a brand new Vehicle without any upgrades.
The only Vehicles without mods are the 3 Instants.

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal. Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement. I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future. |

Everyone must have amnesia, but a lot of these vehicle upgrades appeared in game LONG after the release of the game. It was of course slammed in there in an attempt to drive additional revenue from those who already got the game or maybe was on the fence because of the lack of features/capabilities. It was an afterthought in an attempt to drive their slow sales upwards.
For multiple games now, you've seen a non skylander gimmick's featureset get integrated in a lukewarm fashion in the next entry and now removed altogether. So, everyone...the story has played out enough times that anyone claiming it is being very ignorant of the actions of Activision. It will stop either when they stop producing the game (likely on #6) or when you as consumers send the message loud and clear (deny them sales). Unfortunately, the two are closely related. |
