When I got the game, they had everyone I wanted except Hood Sickle. I even got a store employee to open all the unopened boxes. Anyone know where I can find him?

Try looking at another store. That will probably work!

At GameStop, we got:

>3x Mystery Chests Blind Bags (3 different colors and got all 3 chests: Bronze, Silver, and Gold).


We then visited Wal-Mart to see if they had Mysticat or Hood Sickle, and any different Air/Tech Crystals, but only the characters we already bought were on shelves. However, we possibly could have picked up Mysticat and/or Hood Sickle there, but the sales associate was very rude and refused to open the cases already sitting in the isle... My friend simply asked, "Are you allowed to open the rest of the cases?", and the guy responded with, "Are you telling me how to do my job? We'll get to them sometime later. today". Jeez.

I got the Starter Pack, Chopscotch, and Kaos from Amazon. I'll buy Aurora, a few creation crystals, and Crash's Pack later.

Everything is pretty much coming Toysrus, Gamestop and Amazon. Gamestop and Amazon's stuff is coming tomorrow and TRU stuff is coming tuesday.

After work I had gone to walmart hoping by chance to see that Treehouse adventure pack since they have the tags for it. At the very least I was hoping for the Triple Crystal packs but all I came home with from Walmart is

* Light Crystal
* 1 of each Color Blind bags Green was Bronze, Purple Was Silver and Blue Was Silver

I got Kaos Yesterday from Bestbuy.
People predicted Kaos would be this years Gearshift and I agree he was all over the place at my walmart.
He won't go down as a rare figure sadly.

I'm back after playing the game for hours. I got everyone. All I can say is that this game is by far the best in the series, no ifs ands or buts.

Oh wow, didn't expect such positive opinions that early. I have to say the game really is fun, the MAP is a great new feature and the characters are great. SSA will always be my number one, but this could beat TT.

I tried to control myself, but I couldn't stop myself and ended up playing the Crash level even though I promised myself that I'd wait till I beat the game. Oh well. At least it was amazing.

Yes. Elements only affect the secondary attacks and the available color schemes for Imaginators

I played the first level, and it was AWESOME!!!!! The M.A.P. is great, but a little confusing.

PArT 2

Finished the Fire Realm earlier today. I expected it to be longer, but I really liked the atmosphere and it felt like a mix of an Elemental Gate and the Fire themed SSA Chapters. I decided to play all the Realms with my favorite character of that Element, so this one was finished by Smolderdash. A really nice throwback to the Elemental Gates I actually played with Smoldy.

This game is my favorite so far out of the series. The characters that we tried all seemed very cool (Air Strike, Tae Kwon Crow, Chompy Mage, Wolfgang, and Hood Sickle). Last year I hated both Fiesta and Dive Bomber. My son said that it was his favorite game by far, as well. My daughter also enjoyed the game. We are each going to take one row of the creation crystals. Since I am waiting to get the 8 pack of crystals, we only got the ones that weren't part of that pack. I get the top row, so I only got two (plus the extra life in the fourth row). My son got the middle row (4) and my daughter the bottom row (5). This way each of us will get all of the elements and no duplicate casings. My son made a water sentinel and thoroughly enjoyed all of the attacks. I just wish they would have added more animal parts. My son wishes they would have added a rhino. Loads of fun, though. I hope everyone enjoys the game as much as we have so far.

Day 1 haul for me was pretty good. I got starter (Though trading away king pen and golden queen), Gryphon Park Observatory (gave the crystal from this and the starter to my brother), ambush, starcast, Mysticat, Chopscotch, Air crystal with the wings base, and life crystal with the egg gem, and the Kaos figure. I still need to get Barbella and Aurora, and then 5 more crystals from the set I want.

I've only played the first 2 levels so far, but I'm loving the game so far. Definitely enjoying the senseis. I haven't used my crystals at all, nor even placed the GPO on the portal yet, as I'm waiting until after I beat the main story to do that. Hope everyone is enjoying the game and got everything they wanted today!

I'm not waiting for Buuzer, so is anyone else doino path guides?

Wow, I just got through the second level and the game is already AMAZING. The M.A.P is really cool and has tons of secrets, the Senseis and their Sky-Chis are super fun to use, the levels have tons of secrets, the story seems super good so far, Flynn is actually funny again, and best of all, the Imaginators are REALLY fun to play as!!! I've only made two sorcerers so far but they're both so unique in gameplay! Best Skylanders game hands down. Sky7 is really gonna have to step up to the plate if they want me to get it, because right now no Skylanders game tops Imaginators.

I got a lot of stuff today. Never got this much. Anyway,

I got the Crash Edition, so Cortex, King Pen, Crash, and Golden Queen, and I got a few other Senseis, which are Chopscotch, Ember, Starcast, Mysticat, Aurora, Hood Sickle (LAST ONE), and Air Strike, and I also got Kaos.

For CC's I got Fire, Light, Earth, and Magic.

This game is actually really good.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the figures. They definitely stepped up their game this year in that regard. The characters and gameplay are fun, and the game is super well-written.

Definitely an amazing breath of fresh air after that monstrosity of a 5th game. I'm super excited to keep playing and get more characters.

(Still need to get Dark Bowser, Dark Clown Cruiser, and Golden Hot Streak though.)

So, what does M.A.P. stand for? I must've missed that part.

Mysterious Ancient Place

Rat kingdom is really fun. To enter, you have to find a rat in front of the battle arena. The hole it digs will give you access. And a certain NPC is back in it.

Have we figured out how rare certain Mystery Chests are? I managed to get Gold and Silver today in the two blind bags I got, and I want to know what my chances are of getting the Bronze one next are. Don't want any repeats.

I agree with the figure quality. It's amazing. I can barely find faults with figures like Ambush

I've spent all day playing.

Love this game. I can't wait till I get more figures and crystals on black Friday.

Also you know some people got boxes sent by activision of wave 1 and 2, some crystals and the crash edition? I wonder if they'd do boxes for wave 3 and 4 and some crystals? cause i'd love the 2nd box since almost everyone in wave 3 and 4 is high up in my favs but atleast my 3rd fav starcast is in wave 1/2 and so is my 4th fav wolfgang!

and king pen is in the starter and i can get tae kwon crow and barbella and all

It's not tedious at all, it's pretty much instantaneous. Talk to Wendel (to initiate scanning the character from the Portal), then hit reset, and you're done. Apparently, it works on Giants 3DS too, just talk to Hugo, who replaces Wendel in that game.

Note that it can only reset Crystals which have an Imaginator already on them. Once it's removed, you won't get the reset option until you add a new one.

I can't believe there was 18 different crystals available yesterday.
Also is the Dark Wolfgang have a wavy bow and arrow for everyone who got or seen the dark edition starter pack? My regular version has a bow and arrow with barely anything wrong with it.
Finally what all is needed to make Sir Hoodington (parts, etc wise)? Figure I'm eventually going to have 2 duplicate fire crystals and thought to make one be him.

I honestly haven't really heard anything remotely memorable yet. Definitely not anything on tier with Trap Team and someplace under SWAP Force, since the soundtrack there is notorious for cherrypicking songs from previous installments. But I'm not finished with the game yet. Something interesting could come up later.

Oh man... Halfway through this game and already I am super happy and excited at what I am seeing. The hunt went excellently yesterday and it was probably my biggest Skylanders haul of all time. The Character Creator is one of the most fun I've experienced in a video game. It hits that balance of simple and satisfying on the head. I loved creating characters with my little brother and watching our weird characters come to life.

Also, there's a LOT to do. "This game only has 10 levels" is a completely disingenuous complaint considering how much other stuff there is to do. Yes, you do need a Sensei of every element to play every story level, but that doesn't bother me at all.

All in all, I love it and will continue to love it for ages

Meh... Any excuse to hear the Cutthroat Carnival theme again is fine by me! Also, Hip Hop is an amazing theme and I love it.

Yeah Swap Force reused some songs, as all the games did minus SSA, SF still had a moon sized amount of new song used for levels, with the extra modes either using a new song, remixed version of an old one, or a flat out old one.
