Almost got the wrong version of the Dark Edition though. Luckily that issue got resolved!

Yeah, luckily after I realized it wasn't in my bag, there was a kid at the next register picking up his preorder copy. I had them scan the Kaos and it came up as free, so they gave me mine... even if it was handed over with more than a little attitude.

Quick question, how solid are the wii u graphics?

Had to majorly cut back on figures this year. No luck with chase figures at all, but I stuck with Krankcase, Candy Coated Chopscotch, Hood Sickle, Starcast, and Kaos.

Also, Pickle, the Wii U graphics seem to have been somewhat downgraded on character models.

This was the first year where I got everything I wanted for launch day (plus Kaos!) Best launch ever, looking forward to playing the game in a bit!

I just got the dark edition, Kaos, Every element crystal, the adventure pack, Dr. Krankcase, Ambush, Starcast, Tri Tip, and Mysticat!

I got the Wii U Starter, Ambush, Kaos, and a Light Crystal. Figures look great. Definitely the highest quality that we've seen so far. I'll be playing the game in a bit.

Got everything I wanted!

Had pre-ordered Crash edition from Best Buy online, went to pick it up and all they had for my order was the free Kaos. Apparently not a single BB in my area (Austin, TX) received the Crash edition. So at least I got Kaos for free, but now I have to hunt around for the starter set. Really obnoxious.

What's funny is that when I went to Target, they had a Kaos figure on the shelf, which I thought was weird.

I already had most of my stuff so I went last night for the adventure pack and GameStop this morning for dark edition and Kaos! BTw the game is great and I've only made it through the first 2 levels! They're super long

My Amazon 5 and 8-pack Senseis shipped early this morning (one around 3:00AM, the other around 5:30) and should be here tomorrow. I took the day off work.

I have not yet started to create imaginators as I do not have a reset solution available.

From what I see in the game, I have the feeling that character classes (ninja, brawler, etc) will have same attacks and stats whatever type we choose (fire, tech, etc.).

Is it correct ?

If it is the case, 10 crystals even non-resetable might be enough.

So I went to a best buy for steel plated hood sickle, but literally no skylanders were on the shelves, so I asked this one employee to check if they had any. She looks it up on her phone, and shows me steal plated smash hit, and asks "that one?" I tell her no, it's a Hood Sickle, she looks at one in her phone, and then goes into the back. Five minutes later, she comes back, asking "So you're looking for a starter pack?" I tell her that it's a single skylander, not a starter pack. She goes back again, comes back five minutes later holding two Eon's Elite Boomers, and a Kaos figure. She asks if those are the ones, I just tell her no and leave. It was really hard to not just start screaming "does it SAY Hood Sickle? K A O S DOES NOT SPELL HOOD SICKLE."

is there any new gameplay out yet?

I got everyone I wanted except Tae Kwon Crow

But yeah time to play the game (My Wii U's Gamepad battery is fried so I'm hoping it'll last until the new one shows up)

Went to Target today and got:
-Griffin Park Observatory
-Light, Life, Magic, and Air Creation Crystals.
-Mysticat, Barbella, Chopscotch, and Aurora.
-And Kaos (Which I may return if I do wind up getting him as a pre-order bonus).
And now all I've got to do is wait until the Starter Pack and Villain Bundle come to me via Amazon.
So needless to say I'll be good until Wave 3 comes around.

Can't afford the game yet, but I did get Hood Sickle for when I can. Looks pretty awesome.

Wow Chapter 3 was awesome!! Does anyone notice that the time counter at the level collectible screen at the end of a chapter doesn't count the time right? I've used the stopwatch app from my smartphone and it showed me a complete other time. I've needed 43 minutes according to my smartphone, but the collectible screen showed me 23 minutes.

The stopwatch skips cutscenes and other stuff I recall.

Got pretty much everything except SPHS
TRU: got all the figures, except CC Chopscotch
As well as all cc but earth & tech
GS: got CC Chopscotch, earth & tech cc and both Crash and DE starter packs

Should I get Starcast?

Got lucky and the Gamestop i preordered from had all wave 1 & 2 figures so i was able to get everything from there with my Wii U Dark Edition, CC Chopscotch, CC 3 pack Water/Life/Air, Tech, Magic, Undead and Light Crystals I also picked up. Once i get the Crash edition in the mail I'll only be missing Legendary Tri-Tip and Steel Plated Hoodsickle, speaking of did he get released today? I didnt even bother checking Best Buy or online.

Also noticed that variants count towards level cap increases, Dark Wolfgang and CC Chopscotch added to my level cap on top off regular Wolfgang and Chopscotch man this will be nuts once everything is out

So it is currently 5:19, I've been playing since like 11. This game is so amazing I think it might be the best in the series! My current favorite is Trap Team, but from what I'm seeing, it might be dethroned!

Wow.

Thoroughly impressed. Definitely the best in the series for me. And I'm only on level 4!

If there are already this many good reviews, I think that this will probably be their most successful game

That might not be the case considering how Trap Team and Superchargers turned out. While the former performed moderately well, the latter caused a lot of fans to leave. Imaginators is a strong game compared to the other two, but it might not be enough to bring popularity back to Skylanders.

So I played the whole day and finished the Second Chapter as well as the Fire Realm, here are my opinions on the characters I recently got:

Starcast: Amazing character. Really fast-paced and agile and the clone attack can really help out in problematic situtations.
Aurora: Much better than I expected. Extremely fast and a good range of attacks which also deal out damage very quickly.
Barbella: A fun character. She has really big and strong attacks which hit multiple enemies at once.
Ember: Extremely powerful. The katana is quick and strong and the volcanos help to deal more damage over time.
Mysticat: A rather complicated character, but with a lot of potential. Combinign attacks is the key to sucess with him.
Chopscotch: Love her. One of the most enjoyable characters that just smashes through everything with high speed.

Preordered the Dark Edition yesterday (Oct 15th) which I am so glad I did because getting Kaos seems to be a nightmare. Hoping to get Ambush or Star Cast and a crystal at Target today. Wish me luck!
