Hi all,

Does anyone have a screenshot proving Amazon preorders come with a free Kaos? I'm hearing early reports of Amazon shipments NOT including Kaos, and it has me worried. At least a screenshot of the preorder bonus might be useful if and when we have to contact customer service.

I'm worried with this as well. I took a print screen of the offer in the amazon site, but I really hope I don't have to deal with the trouble of Kaos not coming with the game.

If you don't mind, could you please share the screenshot of the deal (with your personal info of course blurred or blacked out)? Thanks!

Sadly I don't have a pic but in case anyone is wondering, you can only get the Kaos figureif you Pre-Order the game with Amazon Prime,when youhead to Pre-Order the game with Prime you should see this message, somewhere on the page.

"As a special gift for Amazon Prime users, you will get a free Kaos figure with your starter pack."

So, I just contacted customer service and had a chat with an Amazon attendant/representative. She said that I will indeed receive Kaos, so I guess it is normal to have no indication of Kaos on the order details.

Here in the Netherlands I could find only one toystore who gives away kaos. Even dedicated game shops don't have kaos here.

I don't know if that is photoshopped but I know It told me that Primeusers would get a free Kaos figure.

Believe me, the only skill I have is cropping and resizing when it comes to photo editors; I don't even own photoshop, just MS Paint.

Does anyone know how I can contact Amazon's customer service?

I got an email from Amazon about the "Kaos" promotion and it said to go back to the Amazon web site on the same account and add the Kaos figure to the cart and the promo will be automatically applied.. I tried this and it worked flawlessly. $14.99 for Kaos and I got a $14.99 credit during checkout and free shipping. $0 cost at the end. I hope it's the same for all of you.

Can confirm, as soon as my starter pack shipped I received an email with a link to the Kaos figure page. Once added to the cart it rang up at $0 with standard two day shipping (Prime) I'll be getting him Wednesday.

I got screwed and canceled my order.

Pre-Ordered from amazon day 10. Contacted customer service, they told me I was going to get it.

Game released yesterday. Did not ship to me.

Contacted customer service. They tell me the item was not free with the pre-order of the game.

What can I do?

I know I received an e-mail from Amazon yesterday, telling me I was eligible for the free Kaos. It told me to add him to cart, and then credited me the full amount when I checked out.

However, due to this thread, I had already placed a call to Amazon asking for help, fearing the worst. I spoke with a fellow who pointed out there was no mention of such a deal on the page. I told him I saw the same thing, but that it was there when it was still up as a pre-order. I also pointed to the customer Q&A on the page (this was the PS4 Crash Bandicoot version, mind you), which actually featured a question about the free Kaos with preorder. The associate put me on hold, talked to his supervisor, and came back verifying that it should be included. In fact, he told me he believed it was shipped with the package (which, at that time, had not yet arrived). He said he'd call me back after it arrived to verify that it came, and I am expecting that call today. Although he was mistaken about it being included in the package, the points to take away are:

1. After speaking with a supervisor who was apparently more in-the-know, he was able to confirm that the Kaos should've been free with pre-order
2. I was able to point to the Q&A on the page (and the fact that the page had changed since it became in-stock and no longer pre-order) as enough evidence that I wasn't crazy to get him to talk to his supervisor

I would definitely recommend calling and doing the same to anyone having trouble.

So did anyone else not get their Kaos figure?

I got my Kaos by receiving the credit after ordering. It was shipped separate from starter and sensei packs.

Also got an e-mail after my PS4 Crash starter shipped that I was eligible for a free Kaos. Just had to place a separate order and it was instantly credited $14.99 in the shopping cart making it $0.00.

Picked free standard shipping since no rush to get it, I already have a Kaos from Gamestop for the Wii U dark starter.

I received an email saying that I had a credit for a free Kaos as well. Logged in, put it in my cart, and when I checked out the price was 0.00, so the rest of you who pre-ordered, try that and see if that happens.

Well guess I'm lucky I found me a Kaos at Target.

It was titled "Benefit Confirmation for your Order <insert order number here>".

I pre-ordered on Prime and I got an eMail confirming the Kaos figure. Cost was 0.00!

I got my Kaos today.

i didn't get anything. i got my crash edition today and no Kaos figure. I did a chat with amazon and they gave me a code to use

Convinced them that the item was a pre-order bonus. Now they don't ship it here.

Will have to cancel the order and get the Kaos figure from Amazon.de I guess (they ship it here) and get the game at a later date.

I'm extremely mad with Amazon, since it is international shipping now they won't ship it when they promised they would do it.
