Some times when I try to name my imaginator it says the name is censored and there is nothing wrong with it. For example, I made a magic cyclops knight called Cyklutz, but it was censored, so I replaced the Z with an S and it worked. Anyone else having problems with this?

please don't makethis happen in the actual game.

I did get censored, but that's because I tried naming a joke Air Ninja character a naughty thing.

Barren Bones was censored. Yours might've been because of "klutz".

Plase don't be Neopets censors, nobody deserves that.

It had trouble with the word "shroom" earlier for me. Also, it wouldn't let me name one "sexy Flynn," but I expected that wouldn't work.

I managed to call one Buzzkill, which I was expecting to get blocked because it has 'kill' in it

I had to change Crack Shot's name because of the word "Crack."

Speaking of which, I tried naming a character Weed Whacker and I couldn't use it. You can definitely name a Skylander "Dank Memes" though. So, there's that!

EDIT: And I just tried one called "Newt Cracker," and that's against the rules to? Really, this it kind of ridiculous. (Apparently it's because of cracker. What if someone wants to call something skull cracker or something?). Devil, however, which will trigger the super religious people, is not censored.

Cracker wasn't being censored, I think the filter thought the name was too much like a sex joke to be useable... Although, Nutshack is fine, so I don't know the issue here

Nah, I tried just "cracker" and another word, it was still not allowed. I guess it's because of "crack" in there, but then again "kracker" also isn't allowed.

Weird, I tried Cracker and it was fine. Maybe I spelled it wrong or something. Too tired to test it out, though

it looks like we must be more creative with the names to get around the censorship.... this will for sure have us all occupied for a while when we wait for the game. trying to find the most offensive names, lol.

How to get around the censorship in Imaginators:

STEP 1: take console
STEP 2: toss out window

Yeah I tried to name mine SlugBug but that couldn't work so I named it SluggBugg and it worked. Though Hellshell worked fine.

They'll probably patch it.

Seriously, this app makes less sense than Fire Emblem Awakening/Fates Censorships and Pokémon Nicknames.

Wow, the censoring is beyond credible at this point. I guess you can go with Skylander1, Skylander2 etc.

Yeah, but you need the names to print the cards and figures. THOUGH, I wonder if we can name through the game(which doesn't look like it has any issues), transfer to the app, and it bypasses the filter?

Well, it doesn't allow you to name your skylanders Hitler or Satan at least (I tested them because if they were allowed, that would have beed ridiculous).

For some reason, I couldn't use "Altar" in my character's name.

WHY would that of all words be censored? Is it because it filters out religious terms too?

I couldn't name mine spyro or have the word Spyro in his name....I wanted to name him spyro's servant but ended up naming him dragon serevant

I can confirm the censorship also goes with spanish words.

I can name mine "Dalek" though, and I'm pretty sure it's trademarked by BBC.

Metal Sonic actually worked when I made that sample version for you in the other thread. I just changed it to "Sanik" afterwards to be funny. (I'm kind of an ass sometimes.)
