No, it's just a huge reference to Spyro Orange. They never actually explained how Spyro and Crash met in the Skylanders universe, there isn't even a cutscene with them interacting with one another. :L

That's what I mean, they know each other from Spyro Orange. That was Classic Spyro, so...

It's been confirmed that Skylanders Spyro is not Classic Spyro nor LoS Spyro.

Of course, the developers are just leaving Spyro and Crash's friendship origins in the Skylanders universe for us to speculate, and will likely never reveal to us how they really came to know each other.

Noticed that Kaos' triple combos are slightly random, but not by much.

Attack 1: Starts with a Smasher or Knight swing, followed by throwing two Sentinel or Swashbuckler weapons, ends with a mighty Brawler slam
Attack 2: Starts with a Bazooker or Bowslinger shot, followed by Sorcerer beam, ends with a flurry of Quickshot or Ninja projectiles

The random ones are functionally similar, so it doesn't change the flow of the combo at all. The Doom Hands and Doom Sharks are nice extensions of the standard moves, but the Doomlanders are pretty boring, even if they do provide a little bit of support.

Overall, pretty enjoyable (except he doesn't have speed boost move). Air Strike is definitely my favorite so far, though. Love everything about him and Birdie, especially the speed boost from the secondary attack. Using that in the M.A.P. is pretty insane.

The US starter is confirmed to come with the Swap Force portal right?

I saw the complete gameplay of Thumpin' Wumpa Islands, and wow, it was great.

I also saw gameplay of the first two stages plus the Fire Realm. Great too.

So, that's all I can do now that the game is released. It's a form of enjoyment, right? I also can hear the soundtrack and... That's it.

Those don't really seem like horrible negatives.

I'm considering getting Imaginators (Crash Bandicoot Starter Pack), so I have a few questions for anyone who has played it:

-What is the extent of the Crash Bandicoot level/content in the game? Is it a five minute deal or something much larger that I could spend quite a bit of time with?
-I have a Spyro, Cynder, Jet-Vac, and Tree Rex figure, all from the Skylanders Giants series of figures. Can I still play as these in Imaginators and does any data from my play time with them in Giants carry over?
-If I can't play as my old Skylanders, do they still do something in the game?
-How does the game feel in general? I've only played Giants, so I don't know how the general feel of Skylanders has evolved over the years (and by that I mean have they made things snappier and faster, tighter, more polished, etc).

You can still play as old Skylanders, though talking to NPC Skylanders with the same characters doesn't get a different reaction.

The Thumpin Wumpa Island level is much bigger and longer than five minutes. X3

Haven't played but a few things I know
1.) levels are approximately 15-20 minutes
2.) Old skylanders are useable, nicknames and upgrades will stay
3.) Jumping had been added and it's a bit more fast paced

I know plenty of people hate the variants, but I stopped trying to be a completionist as soon as Giants had like a million figures. However, I do try to get all the in game variants each year. Has anyone done some "digging" to determine which figures will have variants this year. I would really like to avoid buying any figures on Sunday if we are going to find out about a variant for the figure a few days later.

It's a big, long length level full of tributes of Crash Bandicoot. The level, along with Crash and Cortex, were designed by Vicarious Visisons, who made Swap Force and Super Chargers. They're also making the Crash Remasters and are considered by Crash Bandicoot fans to be the best Crash Developers since Naughty Dog.

All Skylanders are playable in it, no need to worry. Data does indeed save as well.

Much more expanded animated and much more solid, it's been that way since SF, but Trap Team felt a big more old school. The polish is much much better as well.

Crash and Cortex both unlock a full Wumpa Islands level, I hear it's like an hour long.

All Skylander characters work in the new games, old data and all, nothing erased.

Magic items just give cash boosts.

Not sure about the last question, but I hear it's amazing and huge. What I can say is that ever since Swap Force, jumping was added, so the games have definitely felt more fast-paced and have platforming parts too.

Meant gameplay wise. My general opinion on the story, from what I've seen, is that it's stupid, but also funny. The writing still has a lot of charm even if it isn't as good as normal.

I just saw one of gowbuzzer's videos and when he placed Spyro on the portal he sounded diffrent...the same voice actor from the previous games but he sounds more energetic !!!

There are actually two final boss spoilers out there so far, we know it's skykids and the other is kwingletsplays.

I've yet to regret having the paper in that side of the computer screen. I can even see what videos are from Yroc and Buuzer and watch them in incognito mode for the soul gems and whatever else I already saw with ShadowStorm's leak.

You know, I never really took a good look at all the Skylanders, but I just now realized how much I like King Pen's design. I've always kind of wanted a chubby Skylander, and while I wouldn't say he's "fat," he's definitely one of the chunkier Skylanders, which I think is pretty cool.
