I did Thursday and it said my order number was 1202. I am Hyped and I can not wait until she arrives.
Here is what she looks like. I call her Myst Understood. She is an Undead Quickshot.

Is the figure usable in game?

Yes. They simply put a creation crystal chip inside the base.

Then what is the point of turning your character into a figure if you can still customize it?
If you can still customize them, it'd be better to just use a normal Creation Crystal. That way you can change it however you want and still have it be accurate to the figure because there is no figure.

The point of it is having a cool custom figure of your very own Skylander. WHO THE HELL WOULDN'T WANT THAT?! If it bothers you so much then... don't customize the figure? It's really that simple.

Because you can still switch out their gear when you unlock better weapons and armor, just like hats for the characters from previous games.

I think it's safe to assume that most people who are willing to spend $50 on a custom character already have the base costume down. You order what looks best, and then adjust for stats inside the game.

I'm a little concerned on how the bottom half will be rendered in the 3d print program since he floats.

Tried to order. Various error messages pop up, including one that they're sold out of 3D printed figures. Hopefully, they get whatever is going on worked out. :D

I'm already thinking about asking a friend in US to order for me. I'm still worried by this "very limited quantity" thing that I have read in a few sites.

It says it's avaliable here in Brazil, buuut no money.

I ordered one last night as well, thought about waiting till morning but glad I didn't, seams I was one of the last orders before others started getting errors.

I'm a little hesitant I want to know if mismatched parts using the same color swatch get "fixed" or still have the drastic color differences they do on the app (and game maybe?). Gosh darn it I love the raptor set but its colors just doesn't cooperate.

The app is not a very good indicator of how well the colors work. I'm sure they'll look fine in the game

If you head into the shop and look at the card or shirt you can see a much better render of the character.

I'm not much for cute names and killer stats, I just liked the way she looked and I figure I'll allow them one and if it turns out badly, then no biggie, I won't order any more. If they turn out nice, then I may get a few. Either way it's nice to have a figure that is entirely "mine" to put into the game and not have it be some lame ugly crystal.

With that said, I'll probably end up doing those shady things that others do to back up the data on the chip. This isn't a Hex or a Stealth Elf that I can get a million off for less than a buck, it's a one of a kind figure and I want to save that data as I have serious doubts on them being all that good after a few years. I'm planning on using her in all future Skylanders games (hoping they won't ditch them like the Trap Crystals).

Sir hoodington looks aceptable, but the other one...lacks a lot of detail, especially in the face and gear engravement. I need to see how human faces are printed before I place my order.

Thats is the dumest thing I have heard. The figure comes with a chip all ready programed and ready to play as your very own skylander. There wont be no chips taken from crystals. Thats the point of buying this for 49.99.
