You can easily cheat the creator app by changing the date on your tablet/phone. so after each time you opened the chest, you will get new chests. now you can unlocking everything in the app in one day

i suggest doing this cheat today, you never know when activision will send out a patch.

bronze chests give 3 items
silver chest give 4 items
gold chest give 5 items

for those that have the game, can you transfer the items/imaginator from the app into the game?

you dont need to touch the clock, you only change the date of the day back and forth. if you dont do the cheat it will take forever to unlock everything.

there is a glitch/bug, the app say i unlocked everything but im still missing one piece pf the 'skylanders defender set'. anyone else missing the heroic shoulder armor?... since its missing i also dont get the centurions crest piece

I think I might do it to finally get some backpacks because I've yet to get any, but I don't want to overdo it, if I speed up the progression I won't get anything done today before the Skylanders Academy trailer drops.

I've done it all. Still curious if besides what is gifted if somethings were removed or are somethings only in the console version such as the bare legs that was seen in a lot of people's previews most especially YRoc's undead bowslinger.

Amazing, 10 "days" and zero backpacks other than Hood Sickle. Also it feels like I'll complete the Knight weapons before getting any, I keep getting them.

I'm pretty sure they left this in on purpose since you can't move back to the game with the figure (Paul was interviewed on FGTV and confirmed this can only be done from the console game to the device since it uses sound). This will no doubt will help with the 3d print sales.

On the other hand, if they didn't want it, I'm sure it will be patched so I can't do this on the US release.

BTW, how many pieces?

Well, I'm sure they didn't test it under these conditions....what do you expect?

Yeah, figured it out, really bloody helpful. Gonna work on it at school and then finally work on perfecting my Imaginators.

Has anybody seen some kind of labcoat-esque chest, an old man head (preferably balding), or some kind of mad scientist head? ...don't ask.

Dude i did that like the first time a learned you had to wait for the chests, i tested it out and i was so surprised it worked!

Great, the part which I wanted most, the feathered wings, is glithced.

I got all the angel parts but it didn't unlock.

Has anyone found a way to to solve these glitches? I don't feel like uninstalling the app after so many "progress".

My app glitched and it says I have all the parts but on the Imaginite Set screen it says 62/63, with the missing piece being "Header Toilet Bowler Ultimate +50 Luck" and no way to get it.
Gota delete the app and re-acquire the pieces again.

UPDATE: So we had to delete the app, reinstall it, and time travel again and we got all the sets this time, no app issue.

Unfortunately the app doesn't ask any email to register, therefore it seems the progress and imaginators are not saved in any server. Uninstall it, and you'll lose all the progress and imaginators.

All rigth, then I can write up the complete list of all the parts in the game later.

It claims I'm missing a piece of head gear. Yet everything is "unlocked"...I may have missed a set bonus though, need to go back and check.

EDIT: Yep, it was a set bonus. Be sure to check those.

Unfortunately you have to go through and tap each one. It's a little wonky and doesn't update, so it's easy to lose track of which ones you've hit. Closing the app and reopening it seemed to update what all I had claimed from that screen.

This works wonders. I have all the heads because of it.

Yeah, I decided not to abuse it beyond getting a backpack(and I got instant karma since it's a glitched part), so I'm going with the flow now. More than enough parts to wait out the 5 hour limits anyway.

Those are the Bikini 'N Boots legs.

In YROC's video among others they were bare legs there is a difference between them and the Bikini 'N Boots Legs which are more shorts

However the Bare Legs are still on the app however they have been recolored and given scales/chain mail.

Ehh I wouldn't feel too bad. They didn't monetize the chests and if they want us to pay for the cards and custom 3D prints, we kind of need the parts to do it. To be honest it was stupid on their part not having all the parts unlock automatically. How are we supposed to buy our custom Skylanders if we don't have the parts to place the order?

Me too. It happens very often that a character looks fabolous in the character creation screen and then looks totally weird in game. That was the case with my characterts in Dark souls 3 and fallout 4. I'll go carefully this time, yep.

All other backpacks can be edited, it's pretty stupid to have this ONE wing uneditable because reasons.

It isn't that hard like TheToyNerd said just

1. Settings / General
2. Device Manager / Date and Time
3. Check OFF automatic date and time (when you are done unlocking everything just check it back
4. Change day up then change it back both back and forward on the day will go unlock more chests.

After seeing how some of the items got glitches for people, I'm not doing it. Even if it takes forever.

I didn't get any (apparent) glitches by doing it, everything worked out fine.

Can you transfer from the app to the actual games?

This killed almost 2 hours, but it worked wonders, on iPad Mini 2.

Made my ideal Skylander, can't wait for next week!
