Noice! Still not worth it in my opinion, but it's great to have some new info.

Good to see it'll only include rare items, but I probably won't get any unless they have some deal where you get a free chest with another Skylander or something. They'll definitely have a lot of those at every store with all the chests they'll have clogging the shelves.

They do unlock common though... it was in a video.

I'd be down with a few digital chests...I'd feel better knowing I'm not adding to the land fills. Plus the price seems reasonable. Looking at it again these chests should have been digital only. I guess they want to reach those that don't have or use the internet.

I'm probably going to hate myself for this, but I'm going to make it a goal to gave at least one bronze, silver, and gold chest. Just to have these physical toys. I already got a Dark Edition for preorder, so I got silver down (hopefully). I'm certain to get a bunch of bronze chests, but as soon as I get one gold chest...

I plan to get 1 of every chest as well in all honesty. Probably won't buy them until they are like half or more off, but I want 1 of each color for my shelf.

I think it was mentioned before that some Wave 2 characters have been found at Target? If Wave 2 is a broad thing and not just exclusive to a few stores thatd be amazing. Ember and Starcast here I come!

Yes, but it's still shipped to stores as Wave 2. It's technically not Wave 1 even though it's coming out the same day.

Why would they do this. My plan was to get all the figures as they came out. I obviously can't handle 2 waves at the same time, so I've ended up having to choose who I want for now.

It makes sense this year.
Wave 1 wouldve been pretty small by it self. There's only like 7 senseis that would've been available that don't come in starter packs in wave 1 and even with the crystals that's a pretty small smount of figures available ( considering that the first wave is supposed to be decently large ).

Honestly, it's probably because not a lot is releasing Wave 1 as is. If you don't count variants, there are only 6 Senseis being released Day One. Because they added Wave 2, it bumps that number up to 11

From what I remember though from Trap Team, when they did Wave 2 on day one, it was LIMITED Wave 2, and once they sold out, the restock took a while. So I'd wager that "Wave 2" is still "wave 2", but with the ability to purchase some of them early on.

Yeah my favorites are also in Wave 2 as well. Wave 3 definitely has the most of my favorites though.

Im excited now! I have the money and I might be going to multiple stores later today to see if I can buy the Starter Pack early!

Usually I have to wait until wave 4 to start playing. But this is the first time I can just start playing the very week..... considering I get all 10 elementail creation crystals by the 17th. I am more focused on the imaginators from now on. But all my favorite senseis are coming day one... but in this case wave 2. Still wish we could have gotten blastertRon and wild storm early but I don't need to wait for them to start playing.

so you dont need to pre-order to get kaos, all you just need to do is pick up one of the starters while your at the shop and you get kaos. so it looks like activision pre-order scheme didnt go as planed..

That's a good thing. Preorders are feeding the yearly releases with no chance of delays pretty hard. Also, like Gearshift during TT, sometimes they just have more figures than what preorders would give out.

also ill prob' be keeping the ps4 game until i get a ps4

Smyths are giving out Kaos free with preorders. I don't think anywhere else in Ireland are.

Can Kaos break every shrine class?

SCL Matt mentions an article regarding the mystery chests, listing the ratio of each class of items. There are two more chests, but are digital downloads: copper and platinum

Any story spoilers there? I really want to see but if there's obvious 'hey this is currently happening' it'll be pretty risky.

sort of off topic but i really hope there is a dojo at the academy, like it could spawn a bunch of random enemies (they could get harder as you go on) and you could like get extra rewards and things if you defeat them as an imaginator

Not really... Flynn's stuck in the library and it explains why they go to the Mushroom River.
