I'll never get the popularity of unboxing vids for common retail items. Especially for something like a stationary figure that you can already see inside the package.

I like seeing a full 360 view of the figures, plus it's nice to get first impressions of figures before I buy them. Paint quality and such!

I had the weirdest dream last night...

I was at walmart, and got the electronics worker (who was pretty hot) to open a box of figures. The box had no particular wave, and was just a bunch of figures in one box. There was one hood sickle, but his box was destroyed. No chopscotch, oddly. Tae kwon crow had no head, so i bought ambush. In the box, there was one tidepool and one grave clobber! I took them out to take pictures. Tidepool's catchphrase was "Turning the Tide!" IIRC and Grave Clobber's was "A watery grave!" Dream ended as i drove out of the parking lot with ambush.

Sorry to those who wanted resettable crystals and particular villains to come back.

I feel like we all wanted resettable crystals, it seems more like an annoyance than a mere inconvenience to us here. Parents wouldnt care of course, but when their child (like children do) changes their mind in an instant, itll be a more pressing matter. Who knows, we may get one parent who gets so flustered they take it up with Activision.

I was personally looking for a particular line of villains who, looking back now, were not the "popular ones" as TFB would deem them.

Im really excited though. I know for a fact Ill be getting an extra 50 dollars soon, and I was wondering what to spend it on. I was thinking maybe 2 Senseis and the Gryphon Park Observatory, but I was also thinking maybe 4 Sensei, or 2 Sensei and a CC Triple Pack and then another Single Pack Creation Crystal. Im not sure which option is best, can someone help me decide?

We just need someone to "bite the bullet" and show off all the moves for all the elements...then folsk can make educated guesses. I am keeping crystals away from my kids, and we will pick classes one at a time. My son can ask other family members or use his money to buy crystals that he can do whatever with, but they cost too much for me to not get to optimize because he just thought dark swashbuckler - would be cool.

^ To be fair, a Dark Swashbuckler might actually be pretty good. Swashbucklers are fast and do good AoE damage from what we've seen in the few previews that actually show the class.

But a Dark crystal's powers also seems like might lend itself better to ranged styles. You have access to "Black Hole," which sucks enemies in and holds them in place, from the start. And the damage buff power unlocked at level 3, "Smoke and Shadows", looks pretty tasty.

The second start power, "Dark Mist," looks like it should be a decent "oh ****" button to press when you get surrounded regardless of ranged or melee playstyle.

(Just FYI, I'm planning to make a Dark Knight based off of a sneaky rogue-style character that I used to play in the now defunct MMORPG City of Heroes. Dark Mist and Smoke and Shadows both work well for the concept. Just gotta hope there's a good katana option for Knights' swords unlocked at some point.)

Well guys, the "official" release of Imaginators is tomorrow (even though some of you have it already), I gotta say this has been an interesting few months. But now, all of the hype has finally paid off. Considering the game has caused a lot of battles over Battle Class classifications and which villains are now redeemed (I admit, I did have a few in mind, but I also like all ten villains in the game). Sure, there are some things that seemed weird (like the Swashbuckler and Ninja Imaginators' restricitions), but I knew the game would be pretty fun nevertheless.

Well, the time of war is just about around here. I wish good luck to all the Portal Masters out there with the Senseis training their Imaginators.

As for the villains who are new at the "being good" thing. Just remember these words a fellow villain/hero once said. “I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be... than me.”
