i avtully had a feeling somthing might happen if you switch skylander in the middle of a gong battle. i think the point in this is the fight without given up and if you switch in the middle its like you admit you are given up.


so next time you do a gong battle do the next thing

Glad to know the Elemental Realms basically count as entire levels, that basically boosts the game to being pretty high up on the level count.

Totally agree with you Drawdler.

I remember mentioning this could happen and some people were quite skeptical.Well, there you have It.

So in summary

no Battle arenas, not online co op, not resettable crytals and not nightmare unlocked from the beginning. I won't mention the treasures being nearly useless caz we kinda knew already. On the good side, all tracks unlocked without the need of trophies and chill Bill being a Broadcaster again

You get about 12 levels in the Starter and you get additional levels with each new Element you put in.

That honestly sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me. Twelve is at least somewhat better than ten. Plus then adding in an additional ten levels plus the adventure packs we currently know about... That's actually 25 levels. That's way more than we've gotten in the last couple of games!

Yeah, it's not GREAT or anything that we wanted, but it's interesting replay value. It's more bang for your buck on figures too, instead of just 'use your attacks a bunch on any level' or '2 minute mindless mission' from SC.

I'm still a bit confused on these realms. Is it just like one large themed dungeon in each one? What is their objective? Can only Skylanders of that element play in them after they're unlocked or will it then be open to all elements?

well only open if you really want to know
A sensei (type) shrine, will unlock the given sensei's ULTIMATE ability. Also known as CHI-Power. so for king pen, his chi power is him slashing through a bunch of enemies rapidly after each other, but by default that is locked. And.. that's basically it. once done, it's unlocked. you do have to find it, and revisit the level if you for example want to unlock crash's chi power.

This is more of an opinion than spoiling, but as i said before, i won't spoil ANY game play.
while continueing with the story, the M.A.P becomes larger and larger, with small houses that have a lock before them, making me wonder what will be available later on. These can be levels, but idk for sure, so far speedrunning through a level to actually beat the timer, isn't as simple as it was in TT. i take an avg 15 - 20 minutes on a level, 30 if i explore, I also play on expert mode

I wouldn't worry about stuff like how much there is to do being a spoiler. With these news the more the merrier even if you don't tell us WHAT it is.
I am curious difficulty/balancing wise(again, no specifics, just "battles take more/less time" or other vague things) but it's hard to ask considering you only have your own collection and 2 senseis :U That'll have to wait for release.

Oh, they do? Wasn't bothered to play past 2nd chapter cuz reasons.

Game is really smooth gameplay wise, but seems to drag on the story too fast. You have to explore to find side content.

Damn, that sucks. That would have been such an easy way to give vehicles some utility in all future games. I'm baffled as to why they took out that feature (and yet for some reason I suspected they would).

I wonder what vehicles will do in future games, now. Will they just keep porting forward the racing mode over and over again? Blech...

Game so far is great, but not sure about one thing.

The amount of levels. in the stats page it only counts 20... there 10 elemental reals, which basically are levels too, fearing that, there are only 10 actual story chapters...

Thats fine for me I.E the level bit as that's been known since the achievement list leaked. The realm bit is interesting, hope they are all well designed. For me its more about the quality trap team was a mess because TfB built it based on wii specifications, hence why so many bugs...its why i hated doom challenge on the 360 as it lagged each time i killed an enemy, the beenox ports though were good in terms of any issues they caused just seemed to be geometry based, which cant be helped due to textures and such have to be bigger so sometimes it can mess up things... So can cause some conflicts. A shame there's no kaos realm. Thank you for the reply.... If this game sucked for me it would probably be the last TfB skylanders game I'd buy sadly though I love their innovations.

I don't know about you guys, but I love the idea of Battlebrawl Island being just 3 rounds and over. As long as the enemies are different each time, it sounds great. It would feel like a legitimate fight club you keep coming back to. Problem with the other arenas was that when it was done, it was done.
This time, I can both practice fighting, and quickly raise my characters. Especially imaginators since they can go past level 20. It also lets me experiment with new playstyles, upgrade paths, and of course, imaginators. Also, CHILL BILL AND BROCCOLI GUY!

Agree, It seems It won't be implemented anymore despite being a feature which nearly all of us agree It was cool and should have come back.

Moreover, the levels

we have less levels,12, than previous installments(not sure inthe case of SC).If you wanna access the rest you have to get a sensei of each element. In other words, before, having 18 levels was free, now It isn't, all of this assuming the realms are as much as a levels as the standatd ones.so sorry, but no, I'm not seeing this twenty-something level thing as something positiv. Hopefully the lesser number of levels may be due to these being larger, who knows


Hopefully the are more features of the Game that remain unknown and that Will probably be positive.

- Imaginators have a 30 character name limit.
- You can upgrade your skylander from anywhere now, by just accessing the manage page.
- There are no Winged Sapphires, so you have to grind cash to upgrade your bad boys.
- you can only take 20 in-game e-hum Selfies. before it starts complaining to delete one to add anther one.
- The M.A.P is holy mother huge, and it does contain some secrets.
- The Academy is small as heck.
- The Original TT music does play while being in the Academy.
- Mags is there, (DUH) Buzz and Flynn (Ultra DUHH) as well. Celi and Tessa haven't made a single appearance yet...
- Spyro is the only one who has a new voice.
- Chill Bill and Broccoli Guy give commentary while you are in the battle Arena.
- Hugo will reward you with one imaginite chest for bringing books to him.
- Replaying levels will reward you with new imaginite chests.
- During the Loading Screen, there are ads that try to get you to buy crystals.
---- Along with that is a "Platinum Chest" That yields 20 special items/weapons/ etc. Most likely something that can be Purchased from the so called "imaginite Vault"
- There are many 4th Wall Breaking sequences. When King Pen levels up, he'll say: "I'll accept this levelling up... From whoever just said that."

That's just so odd.

I get Tessa, plot-wise she's excused out of not showing up, but Cali pretty much is Flynn's moral compass and usually is the easiest person for exposition because unlike the others she travels, not even a cameo is very disconcerting.

On the figures, I guess they noticed that the game makes it rain. When SO MUCH gives you cash might as well give them a way to throw it away.


Is there a money sink(store, trinkets, arena boosts)? No need to specify which.
