I'm going to buy them normally so I can have them on Day 1, plus I'd rather get the Wolfgang and Mysticat combo packs so I can get the crystals. For the Hero pack, there's not much of a deal when there might be ones at retail stores.

Yeah these deals just arent that great. Aren't they at what the total amount would be at full msrp?

Yeah I think they noticed that the villain pack sold a lot so they thought they'd add a few more group " deals".

But these definately won't sell like the choppy Mage pack , the price will probably be decreased just after the release day to be competitive, so I'd suggest waiting .

There's a 20% discount for pre-ordering if you have Amazon Prime, bringing the 8 pack to $88.

The villain pack has a Wave 3 exclusive, plus even without Prime is five dollars off the cost. You know TRU and other places will have them on sale. TRU will almost certainly have them for B1G1 40% off - they always do.

Speaking about deal for 8PK:
TRU deal = B1G1 40% off = 4 * (15 + 15 * 0.6) = 4 * 24 = 96
Amazon deal with Prime = 110 * 0.8 = 88

Yeah, right. Amazon has a terrible deal. TRU has it much better.

P.S. I'm surpized that the price for single figure at TRU is not 15.99 as they usually did previously.

As McMurderpaws said, the price at the time was $119.99, which is more that $14.99 x 8. And the 20% off for Prime was not yet functional. At least read what other people wrote to you before you go being sarcastic and stuff.

At $109.99 and Prime discount it is a better deal, and I ordered it once that came up.

Price is not worth it in Canada, gonna buy them at retail or wait for discounts.

if I wasn't already getting the 5-pack & 2 starters, I'd have gone for the 8-pack....pre-ordered the 4-pack though, since Ember & Aurora are 2 of my top 3 most wanted Senseis ( #1 is Crash ) and I was already planning to grab Chopscotch. Since I'm also using a Gamestop rewards coupon to cover Ambush when I pick up my starters, I'll have all 10 battle classes!
