(Also as a clarification of the villain question, the changes are very small except on Hood Sickle; Golden Queen's sleeves changed and her staff is simpler, Tae Kwon Crow's beak and armor are very battered,Chompy Mage's outfit, etc.)

If anyone was thinking of using Yroc's video for the Mysticat gameplay, don't. Use some b-roll instead. It has Mysticat, plus some others like Ember, Hood Sickle, Tri-Tip and Starcast



Also found some other nice gameplay videos with some Creation Content, and a full-no-commentary level gameplay of Scholarville (except the very last part)

Oooh, Golden Queen looks shiny.

I love how the Creation Crystals look too. Just seeing more information and pictures roll in, and it's not even anything new just gets me hyped. Three weeks! THREE! That's not that long when you think of it!

I would assume so. The pictures we've seen of her are pretty shiny.

And we finally have a proper look at the new design for Dark Crystals.
Even if I liked the pure black one I have to admit this is absolutely cool and gives the Element a lot more "personality".

I won't lie, I wouldn't mind if this became the new design for Dark bases as well from now on or if they at least used it for one game.
At this point is clear Activision doesn't care about legacy features and TfB and V.V. have little to say about that.

Golden Queen's figures is probably one of the best looking ones, they did an awesome job with those two golden plastics.

The dark crystal casing also seem to be a transparent black so they seem to glow a bit more overall too. They're pretty nice

Also this baby set is the scariest thing I've ever seen in this series.
the only pleasant thing I can think to make is a baby cupid bowslinger, but it'll probably still creep me out lol
Also what's interesting is that this torso is the first "fat" torso we've seen . Hopefully there's a few more full body options like gusto, coz all the body types so far seem too fit .

Yroc's video has voiceover and soundtrack tho. B-rolls are horrible to get a real feel for the character because the SFX is louder than it should be.

Er, yeah, but I even asked him and he doesn't want anyone using his footage.

As far as I know, he just happens to be in the area, so he's asked to pop in.

I've decided, as much as I love Mysticat, I think that I like Air Strike just a bit more. That make's Mysticat #5 on my Top 20 list for this game.

Waiting on Bad Juju and Chain Reaction to decide my faves, but Chopscotch,Mysticat and Starcast are definately on the list. And GQ, of course.

I get the sense that Chain Reaction is probably going to be moved WAY UP the list once he's properly revealed.

Or way down if his gameplay speed is underwhelming. Dunno, his swords are pretty thick for someone supposed to be fast.

How say he will be fast? We havnet seen any swashbukler gamepaly yet, he can be slow and awsome at the same time.

They look thick because you see them from the side. They're shaped like chainsaw blades, hence the name.

We have seen swashbuckler gameplay. Also the code broke for the quote because Ghostery thinks I clicked a tag, again.

i always thogut that if there will be chinesaw using skylander he will be an undead, you know becuse chinsaw psycho killer will fit perfect to undaed (but then again it wil be hard to make a serial killer to look good...)

Yep. I can definitely see barbella in some of those concepts with the cube staff.

Kind of heartwarming that now they got into a game together too <3 that'll be one for the Headcanon thread when I get home to put this into their wiki articles.

But the whole confusion with Murchiemonster's blog post about her aside, it's amazing how so many characters are still rising from the ashes of Giants. This is so much why I want I-Wei ti start his concept blog posts again on Crabfu, he's visibly shy on video but has so much to share on their history.

I hope we see more revived Skylanders from both VV and TfB im the future. So many potentially great characters.

True, but Fist Bump is without a doubt inspired by a prototype Skylander named Aftershock.

That was a pretty cool insight on character production! I like how Toys for Bob doesn't just throw away the concepts that don't initially work. Instead they keep trying and trying until it fits into the game, like Krypt King and GQ.
