Now that we have some members who recently got to play the game, how heavy are the figures this year compared to Giants or even Trap Masters?

Don't know why but they all seem quite light despite the size judging by how people handle and move them in videos.

Sorry for late response but personally for me Ember feels a little bit lighter and Chopscotch a light heavier but the feel around the same weight as a trap master like Jawbreaker.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear that you felt them around the same weight too, I was a bit concerned they used cheaper plastics to make them lighter.

Also, looking at older character's in-game shots it looks like Traptanium weapons are back to their former glory even though the Skylander's models seem like the same from SuperChargers: can anyone confirm this?

Also I think I memorized the level layout for the cradle of creation now may be a bit fuzzy



overall the level may still be a little to short considering how easy it is to rush through the first portion and probably the second.

Well the first level in almost every game in the history of gaming will be the most easy and short. So lets just hope that the level we havent seen yet will be a litle harder and longer then this one.

On another note, I really think that Wave One and Wave Two are going to be released on Day One, since Aurora, Starcast and Ember were all at the event.

I wouldn't say probably. Could be our only way to get Mysticat gameplay if OnionKing doesn't fill us in anytime soon.

Yeah at least Rufus didn't kidnap Glumshanks and make him the prize of a monster truck rally. Seriously though, why is slavery allowed in Skylands? That seems very concerning

The design looks more similar to Trap Team's Academy but the structure itself reminds me more of SuperChargers'.
It doesn't look incredibly big or articulated but the fact we can also see two pretty big landmasses from the M.A.P. on its sides makes me want the game already.

It's probably going to be the best hub in the entire series and I feel goosebumps just by thinking about how much time I will spend wandering around it!

imagine if they did a thing were it was a mix of all hubs, like you could island jump over to the core of light ruins, walk up onto flynns ship...dunno about the swap force one but yeah that'd be cool

also cant wait for more information about the M.A.P!

I'm pretty sure Pandergast was meant to be a slimy asshole that nobody liked, that's basically how he was written.

I just hope the Academy has a good inside to explore too

Woodburrow is on a rather remote part of Skylands, so unless the Academy reached it in Imaginators I doubt it would be in.
Also, the Ruins are now abandoned (I think) since the Core of Light has been rebuilt directly inside the Academy; not sure if they fixed it again after the events of SuperChargers, though.

But if they somehow managed to pay homage to those two hubs by either creating smaller versions of them or somehow partially including them in the M.A.P... OOOOOH, BOY.
I also really hope we will have distinctly themed areas, not necessarily Element-themed because we have Realms for that but maybe a desert (which we have already seen), a snowy zone, a jungle, a shore, a volcano, some green plains... Things like that.
And I absolutely want sheeps, I missed them in Trap Team and SuperChargers!

Well, when a game gets you excited right from the hub I think that's definitely a good sign.

Oh, I completely understand! In fact, I love him as a character, but I was just pointing out that Pendergast supports slavery and kidnapping because it seemed super weird to me

Well then, they shouldn't have made him the poster boy for a gimmick we were supposed to like instead. And again, the fact he gets away scot free both in SC and Racing despite being a very obvious con artist.

I actually liked Pandergast because of who he was. But I agree he totally should have been arrested at the end of the game. He straight up kidnapped someone and used them as a reward to get people to kill each other.

I like him... I doubt he'll have much importance, I'm thinking he's only there for the racing again.

The academy looks so nice. I've find Pandergast okay but I really want PVP Battle Mode instead of Racing but what you see before is what you'll get after

they could of done pvp but you can only use senseis and imaginators, even that would be good enough

I like Pandergast from teh aspect of him being an undisputed "bad guy", but not actually a full villain, for the most part.

IS based off of the one from SuperChargers's.... It looks like TFB knows the story (and comic sequel) on SC to not get confused.

I've might doubt it for the fews. The only NPC classic in Imaginators for the time being are Mags and Flynn. In Superchargers, Flynn is not as funny and memorable like in the previous game. He's more like Joe Swatson from Family Guy. In Superchargers Patrick Waburton is... Patrick Warburton. I wonder in Imaginators they might be the same as their Trap Team self

Again, wish Flynn wasn't here. Dude's overstayed his welcome by like, two games.

Well honestly, He's kinda works in Trap Team. He's chemistry with Kaos in one chapter is very memorable and very funny to have both of these characters who have the best voices. C'mon, Who wants to see Patrick and Richard together.

Seems like he's a mainstay like Kaos, even though unlike Kaos, he's not funny anymore after joking about someone's almost death by vortex. Kaos can get grating, but self-aware supervillany usually always has something new to offer; not so much Patrick with a driving license in a setting where that doesn't fly.

Maybe this is why he's down in the Undead Realm's dungeon? pfft

I like Flynn when he's in the right place. Sometimes his humor just doesn't fit the situation though.

They seem to be toning him down this game, and by that I mean having him barely appear, mostly because of the Storyteller Skylanders.

Judging by the fact that the main NPCs are probably going to be the Storytellers, and also the fact that so far we've only seen him in that undead area (which I'm assuming is a Sensei realm), I don't think he'll be as prominent as he was in previous games.

Flynn I feel doesn't deserve the hate. He might have been a liiiitle obnoxious in SC, but he's still Flynn. He was hilarious in SF.

A little obnoxious? He didn't care about anyone or anything. He was way too rude in SC which made me dislike him way more then I thought I could.

It's not saying much considering it's SF. There's a big difference between obvious child appeal Flynn and actually well written Flynn, and though it's usually from level to level, he was 100% in the former in SC. Because aside from transport, his only contributions to the plot were farting, joking about someone's death, insert mexican food joke and implying he's analphabet, because kids like being dirty and not reading and he's a GREAT role model don't you think

It's a complete 180 from Golden Desert all the way to The Ultimate Weapon. Flynn feels like a real person with the writing in those levels with how he worries about Cali his own way without overstaying his welcome, and the final one is the first time you see him genuinely upset at something and I was actually kinda scared he'd go along.

Tried doing some snooping on Target.com to look for anything on Mystical Tae Kwon Crow. Sadly, nothing.
