so, there were 4 big variant releases on Superchargers day one.

Legendary Hurricane Jet-Vac
Nitro Stealth Stinger
Steel Plated Smash Hit
Frightful Fiesta

thing to note- smash hit, hurricane jet vac, and stealth stinger didn't get regular version releases until wave 2. Fiesta's regular version was out day one, though.

Now let's look at this year-

Legendary Tri-Tip
Steel Plated Hood Sickle
Candy Coated Chopscotch

Note how the regular Tri-Tip and Hood Sickle come out in wave 2, and how chopscotch's regular is in wave 1...

My theory is that there will be a Nitro Variant of a Wave 2 Character on Day One.

Using Process of Elimination, it could be either Starcast, Mysticat, Aurora, or Ember.

we've only ever gotten nitros for tech, water, undead, earth, magic, and life.

so fire/air/light/dark are due.

We've also never got Light, Dark, or Air either.

Since Mysticat is in a Double Pack, I'm gonna say either Ember or Starcast. I think Ember is the most logical.

This is a decent theory. I think if anyone in Wave 2 is going to get a Nitro variant, it would be Aurora. Considering her catchprase is "The Speed of Light", we can assume her gameplay will probably be about moving very fast.

But then again they gave a Nitro variant to Krypt King.

That's a very good point, I just don't see Nitro working with her design, but perhaps her helmet could be covered with checkered markings.

nitro aurora would be tough, seeing as her current color scheme is white/gold, and the nitro color scheme is silver/gold.

I don't think that you should count the vechiles

I didn't think about Aurora's original colors... I guess that's a good point, wouldn't really be different enough to warrant it being it's own variant. So... Yeah, I guess Ember's another possible choice. Starcast could also probably work, maybe.

Ember is about fast-wide open attacks so... maybe.

A Nitro Starcast or Ember would be great.

I prefer a nitro tae kwon crow but starcast is also cool !

so it'd be either starcast or ember..

If going off your theory it would have to be nitro ember

Nitro Ember would be neat.

Unless Nitro got a color change, just like Legendary. Although, Aurora is primarily white, while Nitro is primarily gold, so it could still work as-is.

Probably not, though.

Nitro's would be cool as Yellow and Blue... but maybe that's just me.
