Ehh... There are better Villain Toys, IMO. I never liked Chompy Mage much to begin with. Plus, the puppet severally lacks paint details

Yes. Maybe He Has A Retractable Bazoover or something. I think the mouth of the Chompy on the staff should Have been the bazooker part

I admit that it is odd he doesn't have the bazooka in the figure but personally I like it better in his classic form.

As someone who really likes using the figures as references for drawing, it will be really freaking frustrating having to use a ton of screenshots instead of just the figure and/or artwork. Luckily, the bazooka isn't too detailed so that shouldn't be too much of a problem, but a problem nonetheless when you're me and you forget everything.

I have always liked Chompy Mage. He has always been one of my favorite villains from the first time we saw him. His toy form is great but I really want to see gameplay with the bazooka first.

His figure and artwork's a bit misleading for a Bazooker. I haven't decided if I want to get him or not, I'll wait and see some gameplay first.

There is a item for preorder up on Amazon where you can get Chompy Mage, Hood Sickle, Tae Kwon Crow. Dr. Krankcase and Wolfgang for 59.99. Shows the packaging and image of each figure.

and it seems Chompy Mage will be Amazon exclusive for a while too...just pre-ordered the bundle myself

I got the bundle as well. I hope they ship them ahead of time so we get them day 1.

EDIT: The Chompy Mage looks great! easily excited about my 2nd favorite doom raider!

Not so fun-fact: the only big changes he had from his Trap Team model are the irises and the white teeth on his cape.

The former were part of his SuperChargers design, can't confirm the latter.

Well, Chompy-Mage's now 4th on my favorite list. He looks great, and I'm glad I'm getting the bundle. I'm glad his figure still has his staff, and he looks surprisingly detailed. Looking forward to seeing gameplay of my favorite Doom Raider.

Also, on a somewhat related topic, I decided to pre-order that bundle pack with him, and I looked closely at his box - as closely as I could with an Amazon preview - and it looks like his catchphrase is indeed "Chompy Power".
