How sturdy are the Sensei figures?

Most of them look like you could rip them off of their bases without too much hassle.

What Activision could do is: make the figures' feet magnets and they can stick onto the top of their bases, which are also magnets

So the figure would be detachable from the base. Sounds nice, don't know how well it'd work. I could see the figure being lost super easily

So kids could play with them, you know - the target audience? They don't have display shrines organized by element and alphabetical still in the box. They take them out and have fun with them.

And Lego already does something like this, the base is the only thing the game needs. Sure you can lose it, but that's part of being a kid.

Usually they have pegs(?) connecting them to the base; a nasty surprise once you try to pry them off the base thinking they're just glued by the feet. With the samey black tops, it'd be a nice idea to have the Skylander's name written under them so you could remove and put it back later after playing, but that didn't happen.
