I just cna't figure out what to really do with this game. I'd love to buy a bunch of crystals, but feel that I would need to buy senseis, to unlock the content, then to not play again. Feels so backwards.

you have already 18 master senseis, 2 guest senseis, and 11 villain senseis, thats a total of 31 figures to buy to top out your crystal character.. and when you have bought a lot of senseis to upgrade your crystal character, are you not gonna use them any more?, since your focus is on the crystal. then you have locked battle class to deal with to so you need to buy more crystals... i think its just best to boycott the crystals totally, you have more than enough senseis to buy and play with as it is. also the crash pack you unlock looks great, so why skip that?.

You know you don't have to buy all the senseis right? So far it only looks like you need 10 to get a mix of battle classes / elements to unlock basically everything.

I swear this subject needs to be dropped . No ones convincing anyone , some people will buy crystals and other ones won't. That's pretty much it .

It will happen. Although technically we can still use vehicles on the same courses (just different game) really doesn't provide me with a compelling argument for the gimmick. Same for the traps. If you're ok with a one and done investment of the gimmick, go for it. I'll probably get 2 or 3 to have enough to test the gimmick, but I'm not going "all in" on the gimmicks anymore unless they are the skylander itself, like what they did in Giants or Swap Force. The difference of course is that all skylanders are ported forward at least...these gimmicks are not. Activision broke my heart with not allowing me to complete my trap collection when I did go all it, so they've allowed me to proactively protect myself from it happening again. It's not like my collection will be complete now. And this is also why I'm dropping Alt Decos. Between logistical shipping issues and business decisions on the gimmick they make it REAL EASY for me to make this decision.

Oh, and "the collector" episode last game was a slam on people that do this. I still remember that too. No drama from me, but I know how to vote with my wallet.
