I think they were in trailers? They're hardly as big as King Chompy the Eigth though(the Eonforsaken guy in Rift to Skylands that can maul your face very easily on Nightmare). And well, chompies ARE meant to be some horrifying joke of nature, which is also why I keep complaining about SF chompies whenever they show their to-be-extinct faces.

I personally think they look better this year, they're a lot more slick and shiny looking. I like the use of more plastic than paint. If anything, the SuperChargers felt a lot cheaper. The paintwork and plastic just wasn't something I liked.

Oh they're definitely meant to be creepy, I just find them more creepy than most. I've had nightmares because of the king Chompy in Rift to Skylands.

MAYBE Blaster Tron

I could see Luminous not having a real following only because he's an expansion pack character.
I can DEFINITELY see Blaster Tron being the most popular light villain APART from luminous (I mean, the only other alternatives are Eye Five and Lob Goblin, so the bar is INCREDIBLY low, but STILL)
(on the other hand, Hood Sickle I feel lacks the popularity of both Pepper Jack AND Tae, so they could've kept Tae Dark and made Pepper Jack fire at the cost of Hood Sickle [I mean, I understand that he's popular, I just don't think he has AS big of a following as CPJ or TKC])

Fan-favorite is just a word for popular.
It doesn't mean he's every fan's favorite, it just means most fans like him. Polls are flawed because there are things that everyone either LOVES or HATES, with very few moderate opinions.
See, the key is to make sure most of the complaints about a character's inclusion is because it means another character's exclusion.
In that case, very few people actually dislike the character, and are only upset because there's another character they like more.
When the only real problem with a character has nothing to do with it and everything to do with someone else, that's a fan favorite.
Because you see, the phrase fan-favorite, refers to fans of the sport, not of the athlete.
If you're a fan of hood-sickle, OF COURSE he's your favorite.

He's probably still the goat thingy .
The leaked charscter head shots from a few months ago that contained bad juju etc .. Have been pretty accurate so far . Apart from small colour changes etc like with barbarella , the character designs still look pretty much the same .

That and the figure on the poster still looks more like the goat beast thing then it does a lion.

Weapons do not appear to be in the advanced color menu, no. They're definitely not in the basic color menu.

I went through a couple of videos and yeah it doesn't seem to be an option. It's a bit odd coz it wouldn't be any harder to assign colours then any other part/ gear.
I'm just thinking it's not added in yet , coz the only reason to not have colour customisation for 1 item would be just so it could be recognisable.

E.g. So people could tell what weapon you were using easily.

Which doesn't really seem important .

It hasn't appeared in a video yet as far as I know . its just attached to a monkey imaginator in those art-to-life promos on the Facebook page from when the game was recently announced.

The giant dancing Chompy is kinda cute imo. (I guess it's becuase he's dancing)
And now that they mentioned it again, I think polls would've been a good thing. They did something similar for Bat Spin, Flip Wreck & High Five, so I don't see why they couldn't do that for villains. I hope in the next game they include all bosses from TT and the VV games to vote for (Mesmeralda shall rise).
As for the figures, I persoanlly think they look great. A lot of them have special plastic which is translucing, glittery, shimmery etc. I espacially like Golden Queen. I remember how disappointed I was with the very first in-hand pic of her, but now she's potentially one of the best looking figures in the whole franchise.

We don't have polls because Activision doesn't believe in fans, only consumers that they don't want to talk to. Wouldn't be surprised if TFB and VV considered popularity polls but were always turned down.

Okay, so has anybody seen a Smasher weapon that's like a rose mace? Because if so, I can make my OC and i'll be happy.

If that set is themed after Dandy Lion, I think he will look great!

I love the concept of this new skylanders and then the figurines are great I expect the game since April
I am new

I like the figures' poses and details this year, but I would have preferred more paint and shades.

I'd rather have smaller but equally sculpted and painted figures than big ones where the lack of details is painfully obvious.

The only mistake I've seen so far is Dr. Krankcase's face: that is not the right green.

For me the only mistake with figures until now is Wolfgang's buggy face. The rest looks good.

So I just watched this video and from the 6 minute mark till the end of the video you can hear the Imaginator saying several lines ingame.
Does anyone know if all Imaginators have the same lines or does it depend on which element, battleclass, voice etc. you choose?

But uh that Lion set is just that, a Lion set, probably with matching bow as a reward for completing it. Doubt it has anything to do with Magic Bowslinger.

I actually think that the Magic Bowslinger is gonna be Buckshot, and is gonna be a centaur of some kind.

My theory is that originally they were gonna have a centaur body type, back when every class could have every body type, but they ended up getting cut.

EDIT: Also, Dandy Lion is a bad name that doesn't work at all with Magic or Bowslinger.

Dandy Lion would work with Magic considering it's the "screw it let's do whatever" element, but the white bowslinger dude doesn't fit the pun. When I think Dandy Lion I think an aristocrat(which is associated with purple,huuuh) feline that fights with fencing or some other fancy stuff.

Another Magic centaur? Not happening.

And I tough I was the only one who tough the Magic Element was basically the (Insert anything that doesn't work anywhere) Element...

Its because they think of it like Miscellaneous!

Probably not going to be a centaur (since Mysticat is technically already one and it'd be weird to have two centuar-esque characters in the same element), but I can agree with the Magic Bowslinger being Buckshot. His horns from that one leak we have of him seem to signify imo, he might be a deer of some kind.
