What, for the Water Quickshot? She doesn't even use algae-themed weapons, she uses squids, which is probably what the Nautilus Shots are. But even then I doubt weapon names are indicative of their Senseis, otherwise the "Blast Sword" would've been called the "Blaster-Tron Sword".

That and Senseis don't even unlock their weapons.

yes. some of them have the names outright, but not all of them.




both of these videos contain ambush's sword.

they appear to unluck some parts(i think 4) related to them but its a mix out of all the available parts. e.g. one of hoodsickles i think was his sholder guards or something.
They seem to be adding more parts to the selection screen as we get more reveals so i think its possible they might all in the end, but we dont know.

I think theyre missing out on a big opportunity by not unlocking all the appropriate parts of a skylander when you take ownership. Thats a big incentive to buy sensies if your mostly into making your own characters this game.

Sorry to interrupt, but does anyone know the methods for unlocking Imaginators' tertiaries? I know two are unlocked at a certain level and one's unlocked by a Sensei, but I'm not sure of the specifics.

It's not one from sensei! Each sensei unlocks a different attack! It's just in a specific order not specific attacks

No, all Senseis of the same Battle Class unlock the exact same Secret Technique.

Evidence #1: In a gameplay video, after Hood Sickle had unlocked Hypnotize, Ember didn't unlock any new moves, despite raising the Imaginator level cap.
Evidence #2: In some character creation videos, scrolling over the Secret Techniques revealed the unlock conditions. They were: Level 2, Level 4, defeating Doomlander and adding Sensei.

We noticed that a long time ago.

It's not weird at all. The majority of Sensei weapons (if not all) have been shown to be unlocked by chests. The Senseis themselves mainly unlock cosmetic items (body parts), although Wild Storm is one of the exceptions, as he unlocks his arm guards.

But one thing I've been noticing is that hats seem to have a better system where they actually fit heads on imaginators, as apposed to regular skylanders where the hats are floating or really ill sized.

The tertiaries aren't unlocked that way though? The secret technique (that you unlock via scanning a Sensei or defeating a Doom Lander) is the same button as Sky-Chi, and the tertiary is something else!

The Secret Technique is the Tertiary Attack. The ones used by the Sky-Chi button are the Soul Gems.

Now THAT'S a creative and cool-looking use of the lava monster head.

The parts from that set already make my imagination run wild (and the seemingly not resettable Crystals make it crash against a wall): grey rock and green lava, for an amazing radioactive robot, brown "rock" and yellow lava for a honey golem, dark purple rock and light purple lava for a runic monster...
I hope to find those parts soon!

No problem. I think it's the first time they're calling the attacks this way, so it can get confusing.

Yeah. Primary, Secondary and Tertiary could be anything in previous games, and Soul Gems could be something permanent, or activated by specific button presses or combos. Same still applies to Senseis, only with the addition of Sky-Chi. Imaginators having a specific attack type for each button does help in keeping it organized, though.

Well, technically, they called them "Attack 1", "Attack 2", and "Special Attack" before, iirc. (They called Tirtiary "Special Attack" already, so might wanna change that to avoid extra confusion )
It's not too far off of "Weapon Attack", "Elemental Attack", and "Secret Technique", my confusion mostly comes from mixing up "Soul Gem Attack" and "Secret Technique"
