Yup, it's all randomized crates, he can also get extra lives from them. Though the fact he's so RNG based means he's kinda unreliable.

On extra elements, well, unless Grave Clobber is a Bazooker, he is being a duplicate from his class as the only ones left are Brawler and Quickshot.

Little list of crates for reference:

• Normal/Wooden Crates: Don't do anything.
  
• TNT Crates: Do more damage.
  
• 1-Up Crates: Gives Crash a extra life.
  
• Bazooka Crates: Gives Crash a Bazooka.
  
• Jet-Pack Crates: Gives Crash a Jet-Pack.

Tough I remember the article saying that the Jet-Pack and the Bazooka are on the same crate. Who knows?

It's funny how a non-Bazooker is the only one to use a bazooka that actually looks like a bazooka.

In other news, I feel like the only one here who doesn't really like Flarewolf. I don't outright hate him, but I don't see anything too special in his design or gameplay so far. He just feels too much like Ka-Boom mixed with Fire Kraken.

Huh, I can see why you don't like Flarewolf, TrapShadowFan. I personally really like his design. He looks like some kind of mix between Crash in Crash of the Titans and Sonic in Sonic Boom...

I never gave painyatta much thought in TT days coz he had pretty dull attacks, but now he's an actually figure with upgrades I'm thinking he'll actually end up really fun.

Attacks I'm hoping for / imagining...

Summoning little exploding pinyatta donkeys -> when upgraded , release candy food that heals painyatta when eaten


summoning a stick from another dimension that whacks painyatta on the head, causing him to explode and deal massive damage. He'd then rematerialise after a few seconds .


And something to do with candy... Lol

I'll always wait for gameplay. It's far out hope but I wonder if Bad Juju kept her sequential lightning; you could get Channeler Double Trouble's level of insane dps if her upgrades addded more lightning per frame or something.

Uh... Where did Street50's post go? He was just talking about Flarewolf as well o_o

If Bad Juju kept that lightning attack at least as her secondary she would probably be my favorite villain.

I mean I know it's already been updated, but I mean with like gameplay videos and all the characters and stuff.

Last year it was updated around the 15th.

I mean, I sadly think what we have is what were going to get for a while, just like Superchargers we only got Wave One and some of two. Barbella, Mysticat, Aurora, and Tae will be added and probably Air Strike but that's about it sadly.

It was updated on the last day of August actually.

My personal theory is that Crash acts as a special Bazooker while Cortex acts as a special Quickshot.
Even if Crash works perfectly as a Brawler it's pretty clear to me they went with that and Sorcerer so that you wouldn't have 4 different Classes in the Crash Starter Pack.

That way we would kinda have 3 characters per Battle Class, if Blaster Tron truly is a Knight.

God I hate European holidays. Every time America gets a Saturday release and Europe gets a Sunday release, Europe gets bumped up to Friday because Sunday's a holiday where stores are closed.
Even when America's SUPPOSED to come first on as far as a calandar is concerned, we come second.
Or when it releases Friday everywhere, it happens to be Good Friday, and gets bumped to Thursday in Europe.
America postpones releases a day for such reasons.

This actually inconveniences people, whereas American English only spoils your mood because you allow it to bug you. You allow it to spoil your mood, and as such, any inconvenience it causes is self-inflicted.
But getting things a day late can be disastrous for anything with online PvP, for instance, where you become a day behind the curve just cause.
Or if you're trying to avoid story spoilers, it's a lot harder to do when everyone in Europe finds out about it first.
I mean, people who find out about it early MOSTLY know how to use tags, but when people find out about it firsthand, and post about it whilst your still twiddling your thumbs on dark Spyro waiting for it to come out, well...
It's an American company, and we all (Europeans, Australians, and Americans alike) wait weeks to months for Japanese-made games to come stateside, but America doesn't even get the satisfaction of having the first worldwide release with an American made game, man! What's up with that!

We're not butchering the language any more than the British are! Neither dialect, American OR British, are the same as they were when they were one and the same 400 years ago.
(no, not 240 years ago, sure, we declared independence in 1776, but the cultural divide existed beforehand, and in fact, was a major underlying motive for the revolutionary war [the Boston Tea Party happened because we were being required to partake in tea time, and then pay high tariffs for tea, we did not feel such a tradition was even necessary, so we threw them into the sea in protest])
Language evolves, and saying either way of speaking is proper or butchered is bigoted.

You might as well say Australia is the one butchering English, it barely resembles American or British English.

They both evolved independently, but neither is the "original", because both started out as the same thing, and neither are the same as they were back then, so neither can truly say they are the "original"
And by the logic that Britain is English's ancestral home, German is the "proper" English, because English is a Germanic in origin.
