Huh, I just noticed something from the recent Skylander Boy and Girl video. One of the options on the Creation Menu is a "Creator App"... Wonder what that's going to be?

This is probably going to be wishful thinking...
But what if this creator app is a way to save your Imaginators?
Like you connect your phone to your system somehow and you can store them on your phone to switch them out of your crystals?
Like I said wishful thinking and probably not going to happen... Could also just be for Selfies.

Perhaps it lets you make a character on the app, then pulls up a prompt that lets you save it to an empty crystal when you put it on the portal... or it could be a photo app, that'd be cool too. Easy posting online too!

I'm hoping it's an app that contains all unlockable parts so you can plan out your characters in advance.

Huh, if it let's you save Imaginators there, it pretty much solves the problem of unresetable Crystals, but it's better not get your hopes high.

I want to see this let you save your Imaginators because after everyone was freaking out these past few weeks and writing open letters to Activision telling them how awful they are it would be hilarious to see all that turn out to be pointless.

It's not solving the issue of locked battle classes.

I would appreciate a way to save my Imaginators and switch them in and out, and using an external app could solve memory issues.

However this already goes against the "Crystals are Skylanders" idea: might as well be coherent and allow us to change Classes as well.

Did anyone notice the default quickshot guns are the same as Buzz's?

That'd be kinda pointless though, I don't think they'd go to all the effort to create an app just for that when they could just make the parts visible(but faded out until you unlock them ) in the console game creator.

It seems more likely to be an extension for people to link their console account to an app so they can create character design templates "on the go" then save a load them onto crystals when they're back at the console .
like SC, all your achievements are probably tied to your account login ( not your save file) so all the parts you've unlocked for your imaginators could easily be linked to an app via login with your console email account.

Something like this could be advertised as a " creation guide" e.g. Look up all the battle class upgrades etc and start designing a character before you have to buy a new crystal on the portal, and before you pick a battle class .

something like this would enable you to at least look at class and element combination designs aswell as test out the aesthetics for them , you just wouldn't be able to play as them until you buy the appropriate crystal and pick the appropriate battle class to load the character template you designed.


It'd actually be a really clever move to counteract the " can't rest!!!" argument. You could get people hooked on making characters and then they'd be tempted to buy another crystal so they can test them out in battle.


At least that's just what I think lol

Aurora is listed there, I just didn't listed everything. But the "W2" says that she's Wave 2, but it's on the same day as Wave 1.

I'm pretty sure Waves 1 and 2 are coming out the same day. They just seperated it to make shipping a whole bunch of characters easier.
