Core triple packs with classics. Maybe they are rereleasing the flagship skylanders, but.. without reposing? Just a simple rerelease? I mean, Spyro and friends seem to be at the center of the Skylanders Academy Netflix show, so it kinda makes sense to put them on sale again.

No Trap Team Cores, aaaagain. I have a bad feeling we'll have none at SA at this rate.

If they are going to release classic characters in these triple packs they should choose characters who are actually hard to find. But all of these characters can be gotten pretty cheap on ebay or even just walking into gamestop and looking at their used characters.
I can go in Five Below and find probably most of them. Zoo Lou... Really?

Or, as I said over in the Tape thread, they might just be bundles of old unsold stock, re-branded for the new release. Can't really tell yet, since there are no pics.

Doesn't even need to be hard to find characters, just plain uncommon. Like everything from TT, late waves of SF, a Series 2 or another from Giants. Swap Force and SSA are the easiest to find ever.

Why would they need to rerelease old characters again? Old Character Battle Mode??

The thing is it has to be real if its for pre order! Or they will probs just get sewed! I mean would they want that?

Uh, Buuzer, it says Wave 2 is available at launch (Oct. 14th), not Nov/Dec. Granted, that only accounts for Sweden, not all of Europe. Though it does hint towards the possibility.

I'm really hoping all Waves are released at the same time everywhere for once, rather than US getting everything (except Yawn Traps) first.

Wait so... I won't get my precious Squid Girl, Painyatta or Boom Bloom in wave 2?!? Please atleast give me wave 3!!!

I mean, the fact that the only character there not in the first two waves is Starcast isn't really that bad.

Guys, it lists both Wave 1 and 2 as coming out the same day. Maybe it'll be the same thing in the States and Canada and wherever else you guys live.

In australia, we're only getting the crash PS4 starter pack (no ps3)and its exclusive to one department store. That same department store has said that the seperate expansion pack (just containing crash and cortex) will be available in november. which sounds like wave 1.5 thing, unless wave 2 is being released earlier.

So it's pretty likely some countries may get the crash/cortex adventure pack within a month of game release.

All I wanted was Starcast, Mysticat, and Ember on day one. Without a TRU anywhere near me my chances of getting Ember at least are down the drain. Oh well. Guess I'm getting Ambush, Chopscotch, Mysticat and possibly Barbella instead.

What is the Core 1 Core 2 thing that has previous Skylanders in them?

Me? Whatever comes out on Day 1, whether it's W1 and/or W2. Get the figures and combo figure/cc packs first, then adventure packs, light cc and triple cc packs

re-releases of the 3 pack classics is a very bad idea. just expect a lot of shelves warmers this time around. and you know what that means, the less the shops sell the less new waves they will bother to take in. yawn traps, thrillipede and adventure packs not showing up here we go again...

I think every character in the core packs will have his own level .
