So from my knowledge, you only get your Sky-Chi after opening a Sensei Shrine, correct? Now something I'm confused about is, how many Shrine's are there? Because from what I know, you need to open a Sensei Shrine with a different Sensei each time to get their Sky-Chi and if you open it with one that already has it, say Aurora opened a Swashbuckler Shrine, then went to another level and opened another one, would that shrine never come back once opened?
So heres my confusion to understand it better:
There should be Three Shrines for Each Sensei to unlock their Sky-Chi if the Shrine disappears once opened.
If you open a Sensei Shrine with another Sensei that has their Sky-Chi unlocked, would it be gone forever?

(Now this is probably wrong), but I thought there was one shrine per class.
That would make 10 shrines for 10 levels. |

Hm, so maybe it doesn't disappear, or you really can only have the Sky-Chi for ONE Sensei only, which would be pretty dumb.

I haven't really been paying close attention to many gameplay videos, so I don't have much idea how Ski-chi works!

Ah, trying to play the game blindly. I don't know why I love spoiling everything for me.
I remember first day of Superchargers before I went to buy the game I watched every boss fight

Well, I have watched the Wumpa Island intro scene, as well as the overview trailer (and probably other stuff I can't remember). Not so much blindly, just kind of can't-be-bothered-to-watch-all-this-stuff, haha

If I remember correctly, they just unlock your Sensei's Sky-Chi move, and if it's already unlocked it gives money/XP or something, I forgot which one but I thought I remembered either Lou saying that in the...*choke* SB&G announcement video.

Hey guys, how will Kaos unlock HIS Sky Chi?
Will you need to open all 10 shrines? If so, can the "master of all Battle Classes" open all the shrines by himself, or will you need one of each Sensei? Or will there be an 11th "Kaos" shrine? Or will he not need a shrine at all? I WANT TO KNOOOOOOOOOOWWW!

Most likely, Kaos either has his own shrine in the Kaos level (we all know there's going to be a Kaos level, there's been one in every single main game), or his Sky-Chi is unlocked by default, unlike the other Senseis.
He didn't show up on the Ninja Shrine, so it appears that he can't open any Shrines for the standard Battle Classes.

Definitely depends on how they go with Kaos. If he's gonna be a limited edition figure only, then his Ski-Chi could be unlocked by default as Nightmoon said. If he gets a further release beside being a pre-order bonus, then he may get his own shrine in... (Level/achievements spoilers below) Lair of Kaos. |

I think there's 4 options: 1. he has it unlocked by default 2. he gets his own shrine in the final level (if the final level has the tenth doomlander 3. you unlock it after defeating the real Kaos. Perhaps in a hidden room in the Academy. 4. he can activate all the Shrines himself, as a "master of all battle classes", and needs ALL of them (not ANY of them, ALL of them) activated to learn his Sky-Chi. 4b. he needs all 10 activated to learn his Sky Chi, but because Fail Activision is Fail, he can't unlock them himself because of a BS reason like "he can't activate them because his heart isn't pure enough to activate the shrines. I'm fairly certain that those icons were the list of unlocked Sky-Chi, not the list of characters that can open it. After all, it shows the icons AFTER activating the Shrine, and it seems more like an "collectible unlocked" popup than anything imo. Why list the people who can activate it? Eon already says "you need a Sensei of the XXXXX Battle Class to Activate the shrine", doesn't he? Furthermore, why list the Senseis that are compatible AFTER activating it? Then the player would need to already have one for Acti to get free advertisement of those characters? To me, that's obviously an unlock screen, not a compatibility screen. What I was suggesting is that the "master of all battle classes" might need all 10 Shrines activated to unlock his sky-chi, so his icon not showing up on the Ninja Shrine could simply mean that at least one of the other 9 shrines needed to unlock his sky-chi was still inactive. TLDR: I believe those icons were a list of characters that have unlocked Sky Chi (the same way a Soul Gem shows the icon of a character), not of characters that can also use the shrine. If it was, they would've put a checkmark next to Starcast's icon, since you just unlocked his, to show who was left. In other words, it's possible they only showed Boom Bloom, Starcast, and Tae Kwon Crow's icon because you just unlocked their sky chi, but Kaos's was not because he needs all 10 activated, on the grounds that he is the master of all ten. In other words, it's possible that Kaos 1. needs all ten shrines activated to unlock his own sky-chi, and 2. can activate any sky-chi shrine on his own to achieve that end.

I think there are 3 Shrines per Battle Class, but they only officially "unlock" once per Sensei. As you said, Aurora unlocks a Swashbuckler Shrine in a level, a few levels later, there's another one. She'd technically unlock it but since she already has her Sky Chi it's still locked and waiting for Bad Juju or the Tech Swashbuckler to unlock their Sky Chi. Now if Bad Juju went back to that first one Aurora unlocked, Bad Juju would get her Sky Chi and the second Shrine that Aurora "unlocked" would be actually unlocked. After that unlock it'd give Xp/Loot I'm assuming.
Pause at just the right second in the reveal trailer and you can see a Ninja Shrine near King Pen when he uses his Sky Chi. When Starcast is shown during his Shrine animation the background is different than that of the one in Mushroom River so it's a safe bet there's at least 3 Shrines. (Bazooker and Quickshot probably only have 2 while Sorcerer and Brawler probably have 3. Great work on the balancing TF |

Juarmo, you are one extreme rambler.
And the things you're rambling about are completely wrong. The Ninja Shrine popup appears before the Shrine is activated. Afterwards, it simply stays on-screen for a while. Also, no, Eon did not utter a single word about the shrine. Though that might just have been because Starcast was already in play. (8:20-ish)

I think that the number of Shrines per Class is equivalent to the number of Senseis per Class. If you open one Shrine, it's opened forever, you can't open it again. But, you can only open one time per Sensei. So, if you already opened one with that Sensei, you can't open another. I think that's the purpose of the pop-up on the screen, to show the ones you already unlocked the Ski-Chi and the ones left. Who knows?

But then what about the Dark counterparts? ;P
They're most likely repeatable, but upon reactivating them, you don't get any new Imaginator parts, just gold/XP, and if you use a Sensei without their Sky-Chi, that gets unlocked.

Hm, good question...
In any case, I think players can play on multiple saves and then unlock for those who don't have it.
