I ****ing hate it

I don't think it's a new VA, just poor line rerecording. You do see some videogame characters change entirely in tone between games because the VA forgot how they sounded like and didn't put any effort into going back to listen.

Some of his lines sound exactly how he did in Trap Team.

It's not a new voice actor. Just no effects.

I kinda wish he just like

said his lines better? "May the void have mercy on you" is an incredibly hardcore line, but the way he says it sounds like a joke. If he said it like how Nightfall says all of her lines, it would be a lot better.

It's the same voice actor, they probably just removed the effects because some soccer mom complaining on how scary it sounded.

I also hate the new voice...they gutted him in my opinion. Here's supposed to be an executioner (honestly don't know his back story) isn't he? How do you make that non-threatening? Ghost Roaster had a pretty dark past and they let him stand...my daughter still thinks he's creepy 5 years later lol.

The new voice killed it for me the lines now come out as devoid or empty from his catchphrase to his sky chi lines it really sounds like effort was dumped out in favour of just getting it done try to out more effort in. Hood Sickle is real favorite of mine so it's disappointing but I can deal with it it just also does not help when I'm worrying that his gameplay may end up also not working well along side his gameplay.

I think it's just his damage output is low even if he is doing it at a faster rate (but i also don't know how much he can build up) and I'm not sure how I feel with his void attack is it suppose to trap a enemy?

Guys, remember this isn't the final recording. Does anyone remember those gameplay clips of Roller Brawl with a french accent? Well it happened, then they changed her voice.

Also, the same voice is on the Skylanders Website on his page. It's a final voice.

They changed it way early, remember Golden Queen also had her old lines in the oldest demo. They finalized it by now.

I remember when most fans liked Bouncer's non-robotic voice from his E3 2012 debut.

I liked that one :C

It was a shame that they change bouncers non-robotic voice but it happens and in the end his robotic voice was not much of a problem it still works with his personality. Hood sickle on the other hand feels like he goes against his personality.

Also any links to roller brawl and golden queens old voice lines before the were changed it intrest me.

But there is still hope, Magna Charge doesn't have robotic effects to his voice on the site, and Hood Sickle kinda sounds like he did in Trap Team in both languages, simply without any effect.

Super happy they kept Golden Queen and Krankcase's, hope the same for Wolfgang but it's highly likely at this point.

I think Wolfgang is the same but good god I hope Grave Clobber VA is not change or the effort put in otherwise a part of me might die on the inside he's already getting pressure thrown on him don't do this to the lovable eart- I mean water mummy.

Also the changes for golden queen lines are nice small things that makes the character better in general.

I hate the new voice too. It doesn't match a no-pupil, dark, executioner.

If they do the same thing to Tae Kwon Crow...

I like the edgy angry voice Hood Sickle has... I don't know, it just doesn't bother me.

I've only just heard it now and just no. It doesn't fit him, it doesn't fit that of such a dark character. A deeper voice works so much better.

I don't think that's him.
Mario Zucca voiced Wildfire and I think Chomp Chest, he has a much deeper voice.

Hood Sickle sounds like a teen pretending to be a grown up adult, as of now.

In other words, it sucks. I agree.

At least he seems to be the only one for now. Quinton Flynn changed his tone a bit for Krankcase, but he's just slightly raspier, even better than in Trap Team(and much easier to notice he's the same one who voiced Raiden, heh).

Ah, yes, Pietro Ubaldi is definitely voicing Tri-Tip and I have to say I like it: I love how he voiced Wham-Shell, Hot Head, Wash Buckler, Gulper and now also him and yet sounds different all the times (I might have forgotten some NPCs though).

It's even funnier when you think Wolfgang is voiced by Claudio Moneta, the italian voice for Spongebob (and also Wolfgang and Thumpback).

I think I'm more upset that the Figure looks better than the in game model does.
