I was watching FamilyGamerRadio's video where they were looking at the packaging of Senseis and stuff, and I looked close at the boxes and I could make out two catchphrases!

Barbella: "It's crunch time!"

Tae Kwon Crow: "Who dares face me?!"

You could try to look for Mysticat's: it begins with "The Master" but we can't quite make out the second part (someone suggested "of Mystery!" but it could be some pun like "of Meowstery!").

That wasn't Mysticat's catchphrase.
It was Mysticat's name, "Master Mysticat".
It seems they do not show the character's catchphrase on Sensei // Creation Crystal combo packs.

Yel, but there is a really quick look at his single as well, at 2:00 in that video.
Couldn't make out anything though, just wrote what others saw.

"The Master of Mystery!"
"The Master of Meowstery!"
"The Master of Sorcery!"

I don't think it's "The Master of Meowstery" because how would they translate that into french hm?

Mysterium is a latin word, it works as latin words sound the same or similar in French, Italian, etc though only in countries that also translate "meow" to "miau"

I'm already concerned about King Pen having the exact same catchphrase as Chill and Freeze Blade and I honestly hope Grave Clobber won't have a catchphrase related to ice as well.

Well, I like to think of it like this:
Could YOU come up with original catchphrases for over 300+ characters?
I mean I have enough trouble coming up with a catchphrase for one.

It's blurry, so it could be something else, though.

Well, if Barbella has a fitness gimmick, she could have "I Fit Right In!" or if we really need ANOTHER Earth cliche, "Breaking New Ground!".

I'm actually just stealing Crusher's lines on that last one too. The issue is that the catchphrases and names are an afterthought, if you look into the coding of the games on X360 as shown by The Cutting Room Floor they don't have final names when they're put in. They might not actually spend any reasonable amount of time choosing stuff, both TFB and VV, just what rolls off the tongue.

Yeah, you're right, let's not make any more skylanders! That's obviously the best way to go.

Well... I wouldn't mind a game with no new figures and 100% effort on a game, but that's kinda asking for bad sales. Making videogames in AAA gets more expensive by the year.

that's the catch 22 of it all, ain't it? I still think a free to play game alongside the main releases would be a great way to go. Players with toys can play like normal or simply use the digital characters as they'd be "unlocked" a la the 3DS games ( mainly SF & TT, technically Superchargers Racing ) by scanning the toys or by spending a little money via microtransactions ( for those interested in the gameplay but not the toys ). There could be content for all types of figures, with new content added as new games get released to account for new gimmicklanders.

Not even 200, actually, we should be' around 150 with Imaginators.
But it's still a lot.

My point was that while Chill, Freeze Blade and King Pen all have different catchphrases in english, they use the same in italian.
Same happened with Free Ranger and Thunderbolt.

It's just... A minor nitpick, really.
