Are Trap Masters gonna be fun again?

Because they were terrible to play as in Superchargers. The Giants felt a little weird in Swap Force, but we're fun in Trap Team. The Swappers were garbage in Trap Team, but awesome in Superchargers. I really hope TfB fixes them, they were so awesome, hopefully this time they're balanced.
I also hope Superchargers aren't ruined.

I just hope they bring back the TT models, becuase most of the Trap Masters looked pretty crappy in SC.
As for Superchargers, well I sure hope Nightfall does a bunch more damage (though it's much more important that the broken ones work) and I hope we'll get to see some updated models, because I always prefered the TFB models over the VV ones.

In this context, as long as Knight light retains his flight power by tapping double jump button, I'll be ok.

I never noticed Nightfall doing low damage personally. Astroblast on the other hand...they REALLY need to buff his kick attack big time.

All I'm going to say is they need to fix Crusher. Because he was Sugar Honey Iced Tea in Superchargers.

Not sure if you noticed, but this game looks like it imported most of VV's graphical intellectual property in this game. Look at the villains. I wouldn't bet on that.

I know, but Golden Queen's model is from TT (I think) and I just hope they bring back the TT models for Trap Masters.
(And more importantly, support broken Nightfalls! I will be extremely salty if I put mine on the portal and get an error message!)

Alchemy, which is owned by VV, is the game engine used by both developers. They just had their own assets to work from. They're probably FINALLY realizing the shift is jarring plus each developer has to do 2x the work to keep up. It may be too little too late, but it's a good idea...IF they can bring substantial new things to the game each time. And I'm not talking about the gimmick.

I just LOVE the idea that we're gonna be stuck with VV graphics/assets for the rest of eternity /s

I totally agree...the squeaky toy Chompies just aren't as engaging as the "rabid dog" Chompies. I like the art style as a whole, but TFB does look better ( getting all my Skylanders to 20 with all upgrades using the final stage of Superchargers & the Emperor Kaos method of exp grinding has allowed me to notice VV's style looking a tad off in some areas...the wet paint look for instance )

Don't want to go off-topic, but since you brought it up...

The only two things I absolutely can't stand of V.V.'s style are the techy stuff everywhere (even in temples and ancient places where they absolutely don't belong) and the ridiculous amount of bouncy and moving things.
There is always something animated in the background and it just feel so out of place and exaggerated; I know we are in a magical realm where everything can happen (and it also uses a very cartoonish style) but just look at Thumpin' Wumpa Islands: do palm trees and freakin' stone statues really have to bounce like that?

Other than that... It's just that I prefer TfB's style, but it doesn't mean V.V.'s bad.
Looks like we are getting a good mixture of both in Imaginators and I have to say they work pretty well.

Even figure-wise it seems like they are using less shaders and try to rely more on physical textures and other effects, such as metallic paints or special plastics.

On-topic, I indeed hope Traptanium weapons will look as cool as they did in Trap Team.
Can't say anything about the actual gameplay, SuperChargers never encouraged me to play with my collection unfortunately.

That kind of has a point for it though. Since it's rhythm festival on Wumpa Island.

I know, but they could have made it more subtle.
I'm pefectly fine with environment features bouncing rythmically for a magic festival... But you don't have to make palm trees jump in the air or stone statues behaving like if they were made of rubber.

Just tone down the bounciness a bit, that's all.

To be fair the level itself simply sticks out like a sore thumb from what I've seen: from the camera, to the design itself, the effects and pretty much everything, it looks like it belongs to a V.V.'s game.
Works perfectly as an homage to the Crash series but could have been more in line with Imaginators' mixed style.

Can I just say I NEVER use Trap Masters in TT cause they are so OP I get no satisfaction out of using them (If you can wipe out a big enemy on the fourth level with 4 hits, there's something wrong)

Heck, I prefer SFs Damage Sponges to any enemy in TT, but that's just me.
