We've seen Imaginators with Nicknames, even if it is with the quotation marks.

I don't know what to say about the name thing, except that we will be able to name them. It was mentioned multiple times before that you can name them and I'm sorry, but if we can't name our characters, then the devs are the dumbest retards that ever worked on a game.

We have, but that was in earlier versions. Not a single one at Gamescom (or Gamescom-related footage given out to those who couldn't attend) had been named.

I love how the Doomsharks have that Wii model-ness to them just like the original ones from SSA. It's just polished enough to not look like crap but they still have a very "level hazard" look instead of actual projectiles.

Man, I picked the wrong day to update the Achievements article on the wiki. Gonna have to save this all to add to the character articles, now that some older Skylanders have glitched screenshots(that or my computer can no longer display them right) I don't want to regret not adding them when it first showed up.

I'm the only one who noticed that, on the E3 demo, all Senseis had a oriental-style jingle, but, on Gamescom, Villains, Crash, Cortex and Kaos had different jingles?

I got a better look at Pit Boss. It's not much, but this is him for sure.



Look at the base. His symbol matches Sorcerer, and he seems to have a misty tail, and not a snake tail, but that could be my imagination.

His face is hilarious.

This would probably fit better in the Toys/Merch section (We do have a UK topic there!) but yes, he is a pre-order bonus at GAME.

Of course you can still name your Imaginators! They explicitly said Ownership is where you go to name them and there was at least one video where a guy named his at Gamescom. The only reason they won't let everyone name their Imaginator at these public conventions is because we all know some guy would probably name his something inappropriate when no one's looking. Then imagine what would happen when they use that crystal in someone's video.

It's either because they sound very similair, or they were just lazy.

Blaster-Tron's theme could definately fit in with the first seconds, not so sure about Bad Juju since hers takes a while to get going.
Pain-Yatta dunno either, since his theme has a nice beat a few seconds after the magic moment's timing. Hopefully they'll add that.
Chompy Mage, Grave Clobber and Tae Kwon Crow fit like a glove, but dunno why the latter would be needed when the Sensei jingle is a better sounding oriental theme.

Again, I think that just means 'there's no going back unless you reset in which case you also lose all your Imaginator's progress'. I'm not believing you can reset it until they say in specific that there's no reset button.

1 - Yes, it's a Gold Chest. They unlock Imaginator parts... That's all they told us, really. There are also Bronze and Silver chests.
2 - Yes. We have Gryphon Park Observatory, and the separate version of the Thumpin' Wumpa Islands with Crash and Cortex that has yet to be revealed but we have the listings for.
3 - Nope, as far as I know.

1. It unlocks Imaginator parts, and there are 3 different types of chest.
2. Gryphon Park Observatory is confirmed, and comes with a new level, Air Strike, and an Earth CC, no videos have really been shown of it in game, just the packaging.
3. Dunno.

1) It's a gold chest that gives you pieces. We don't know how it works

2) We got Air Strike's Adventure Pack

3) No.

From what I've seen (although I don't have the game yet), I think Superchargers handled reposes best.

Incorrect, all three Imaginite Mystery Chests have a black lid.

I kinda wonder what the differences are between the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Chests are.

Maybe the Bronze one gives you common items and can be used more often, the Gold one gives you rarer items but can't be used too often, and the Silver one is somewhere in-between?

Check your stores, eBay and Amazon. Some like Pirate Seas and Dragons' Peak are pretty common.

I bet bronze chests will unlock common items and can be used once every chapter, the silver will give rare and common items once every chapter, and the gold chest will unlock common, rare, and above once every chapter. And anyone else mad that Crash and Cortex are on the poster but bowser and dk weren't? Also, where does everyone think the dark characters are going to fit on the dark poster?

Gold, Silver & Bronze...kinda like the Olympics...hmm an Olympic variant chest would be interesting.

Well I'm convinced he's a sorcerer now. It looks like he has a staff with a cobra head on it, similar to Jafar from Aladdin

I just hope the Chest Pack comes with every Chest. 6 dollars for just one feels way too expensive for me.

The Light and Dark "Expansion" packs go for $100 or more on Amazon and eBay so good luck!

Heck, Knight Mare and Knight Light are still pretty expensive. Dragon's Peak and Pirate Seas disappear and reappear a lot from what I've seen but they're mostly affordable; or don't even fear that if you live somewhere with used Skylanders.

I really hate how nicknames with quotation marks are still a thing, I don't want my imaginators' names to look weird

Considering some people were listing SSA skylanders by their nicknames which were some pretty hilarious **** on the brazilian equivalent of ebay, I kinda get why they leave an indicator for a nickname now. Me and a friend had a good laugh looking at the Lightning Rod being called King Neptune, or Sonic Boom listed as Black Hawk.

I just realized how amazing it would be if each Skylander had their own theme that would appear durin their magic moment, similar to how Roller Brawl has a whistle sound and Night Shift the sound of a boxing bell.

Yep, definitely would remember him if he was... well, memorable. Sky races were my specialty, and he was a Sky Villain, his Skystone was one of my more used ones in Skystones Smash, and I used him in Skystones overdrive (my theme was villains)
So, that speaks to how un-memorable he is, since I remembered him last, and it took me longer to figure out who was missing (I only remembered after using deductive reasoning to figure out that the missing element was fire, because I was totally stumped LOL)
