PETITION: Make SkyLanders Imaginite Creation Crystals FULLY Resettable, Let us Reset Battle Classes!
Coming out in 2016, is the next SkyLanders game, SkyLanders Imaginators. The premise is great, create your own SkyLanders using your imagination…yet Activision and/or Toys For Bob is restricting our imagination by not letting us reset our Imaginite Creation Crystals.
We, the fans and thus the financial supporters of the SkyLanders franchise, want the ability to reset our Imaginite Creation Crystals. That is to say, we want to fully reset our Imaginite Creation Crystals; for example, if we have an Air Smasher Imaginator in an Imaginite Creation Crystal, we want the ability to reset the Imaginite Creation Crystal to make an Air Quickshot Imaginator. We do not want our Imaginations restricted; we want the ability to change Battle Classes at will, we do not want a Battle Class as a final decision. We the fans want to be able to change every little thing about our Imaginators, from Battle Classes, to Body parts, Weapon, Gear, Size, Color, Aura, Powers, Personality, etc; we do NOT want choosing a Battle Class as a final decision because our Imaginations are endless and unrestricted.

Hate to sound like a broken record, but petitions don't work, especially for Skylanders stuff. I would sign it, but I'm just being honest, I don't think it will work.

Adding a giveaway is a bad idea. Now, if they look at the petition, they won't be able to determine if the extremely small portion of the fanbase that signed it did it because they really want the option to reset, or just to get a free toy.

Eh, only solution is to sit back and enjoy what we've got. There's little that can be changed in a game this late in development. If we can just move on from this stuff, I'm sure the forum would lighten up a bit

Ow. My head is throbbing from this petition. Activision will NOT change this, knowing they can make more profit by forcing you to buy more crystals.

I believe Buuzer is on to something there. A patch MIIIIGHT be able to add a complete reset to the Creation Crystals. I mean for some what of a comparison was "Night Fall", the first release, where she couldn't be played at all. But Acti/VV patched it and "Night Fall" could be played with later (updated) versions of SSC, with exception to the Wii system, because that system couldn't receive updates.

If they did release a patch, then there's one problem: If they wait too long after the games release before releasing the patch, then everybody who brought extra Crystals to experiment with would have a load of extra Crystals sitting around. Then you'd have a similar problem to this, but in reverse.

However, two workarounds to this could be:
Release the patch near the games release / Update the game before release and allow Crystals to be reset
or
Give bonuses for extra Crystals (such as increased chance for rare parts found in-game)

Just because they patch resetting in to the game doesn't mean the petition worked.

Would I like This petition to be successful? Yes.

Do I think it will?

If you want you could give a fake name and address to change.org; let say you put "Bowser Kong" as your name and your address as 1000 Toadstool Road, DC, etc. You get the drift.

And even with the email you could just make a free one up on yahoo for just this instance, like "SkyLanderPetition@yahoo.com", you know something like that. #1 priority is always be safe.

People will take it even less seriously if you put fake addresses and names, since they'll just write it off as troll votes.

And giveaways kinda make it worse. It's a sign of desperation. You want the petition to get more attention, but it shows your willing to give up your collection in favor of an action that is too late in changing.

It's a sign that we (sky fans that dont like non-reset-able CCs) want to be heard; whether Acti changes it or not is their decision. But we want to at least try. What we want is for Activision to allow us to fully reset the Creation Crystals, even the Battle Class selection. We are willing to try Try TRY to get our voices heard by Activision, so willing that yes, we are giving away our own new Variant SkyLanders and shipping it to the winners worldwide, on our own dime. The Acti devs miiiiiiiiiggghhhhttt be able to use a patch to allow us to fully reset the Creation Crystals, and that's what we're hoping for and that's why we're asking people to sign.

I feel like TfB wanted to make the crystals resettable to change the battle class, but Activision didn't want that so they can get lots of money.

Yeah, TFB would've tied crystals to classes if they wanted that from the get go, like Trap Master weapons or heck, the Sensei weapons; or would've made the Senseis use interchangeable weapons. Acti's higher ups probably walked in one day and decided they could just mess it up halfway through.
