After superchargers witch I haven't played since April, I've started to lose faith in skylanders. I like the idea of imaginators, hell I even had the thought "It would be cool if you could create your own skylander" Since trap team. But I don't want to spend money on a game I'll complete once, and then not play it again because I found it boring. I was thinking of waiting till the UK prices are released. Any advice?

If you're hesitant about it, wait for reviews and general reactions on the forum and gage whether you want the game now or not.

IIRC, the prices that I know of are:

Starter Pack (Wii U, PS3, and XBOX 360) --- £50
Starter Pack (PS4 and XBOX ONE) ----------- £53
Sensei ------- £15
Villain ------- £15
Crystal ------ £9

And I'm assuming:

Sensei/Crystal Pack ------- £20
Crystal Triple Pack -------- £20
Adventure Pack ----------- £25
Dark Starter --------------- Over £70
Crash Starter -------------- Over £70

Dark/Crash starter packs are going for as much as £85. Regular Wii U starter packs are the cheapest (about £49.99) and Xbox 360/PS3/Xbox One/PS4 are usually about £54.99

I'm a Wii u user, so 50 pounds is pretty good. If I get two water crystals, (Which I've heard are five pounds) It's 60 pounds.

Yeah, I'm thinking about getting it for Wii U as well. Though I can't bet on Crystals being that cheap, £7+ sounds more reasonable.

I'd wait a few weeks before. Always been against super early preorders as it gives the game undeserved hype -not that Imaginators as a game proved to be bad unlike what the crystal drama say, but we don't know that yet to give them the mesaage we're buying no matter what.

I think that says that Crystals are £8.99? It's a little blurry for me though, so I can't tell completely.

EDIT: Wait, does that say Superchargers is £17.99? I know this is off-topic, but holy **** that's cheap.

Yeah, sorry about that mess. My original post was trying to add more detail to the price of the starter packs, but I didn't know about crystals yet. Good find!

If you're gonna pre-order, I recommend pre-ordering the Crash Edition from Amazon.com.
Not only will you get the Crash and Cortex figures, but you'll also get a free Kaos figure!

Oh, and BTW!
The Crash Edition is exclusive to PS3 and PS4, so if you don't have either of those, just pre-order the normal Starter Pack for whatever console you have.
You won't get the Crash and Cortex figures, but you will get the Kaos figure, and the Crash and Cortex toys will be available this coming holiday season, and will work on ALL consoles.

If you are doubtful, wait until the game is sold loose on ebay for 20$. It shouldn't take long after release. That's what I did with SC.

You may not even be forced to get any senseis or crystals to beat the main storyline, so...

Honestly my worry is, I open the game and I get bored with it. Stop playing after I complete it once. If I can get two water crystals and the starterpack I willl be good. Maybe just one crystal.

Is Amazon covered for Kaos now? Not when I last checked. My Prime might make it cheaper there.

Amazon has the Kaos figure if you pre-order ANY edition of the game for ANY console.
I literally had trouble breathing when I heard this because it means I'm getting the Kaos figure!
