I think the biggest thing we should find out now is if we can even play as those characters, or if it'll tell us to use a different Skylander...or if it'll just play the same dialogue no matter what...or give us "branching" cutscenes.

It's neat to see them in kind of a larger role. I really enjoyed in SSA where the first level knew if you were playing as Triggs, Gilly or Spyro..obviously they can't do stuff like that now because of how many Skylanders there are but it was a neat little bit.

I want Boomer to help in the final battle against Kaos.

You can play as them even in the same level, they say so in several videos.

Spyro's model looks a bit different... Worse, unfortunately. The scales on his head are way too visible again and he just looks angry.

More look at Skylander interaction, you have to brace through sky dad's chatter though.

Well, he constantly lets his kids also throw a tantrum or do disgusting things and doesn't edit it out. I needed a few hours off after watching the trainwreck that is the Fiesta reveal video, since he was the only one with footage and I was getting data for TTD.

I'd rather sacrifice being up-to-date on reveals than give that guy views.

But, on topic, I'm over-the-moon with Spyro's NPC role so far. His voice isn't... Perfect, but TBH it's been like that since 2011 and I really need to get over it.

Finally, some clear Spyro dialogue!

I think he sounds better as Elijah Wood as Spyro ... Josh Keaton has more emotions in his voice ... I can't explain it better, but I think his voice acting is better as Elijah's.
Elijah is a great actor, but his voice acting was not so good.

I would love a Prism Break level

While there's no way to confirm it, I'm assuming that our other possible storytellers could be Pop Fizz and Trigger Happy. (I feel strong with these two.) And possibly Terrafin (fan favorite), Food Fight (I think he's in the show plus he's a recognizable core), Roller Brawl, and Wind-Up (they're both in Academy).

From the Overview trailer, we got Pop Fizz.

Every time I see Spyro in a cutscene I just get all hyped up! As well as the other Skylanders, this is STILL just too cool!

I thought that was a legit quote and got excited.

I love how in the video, everyone reminds Cortex that this is his fault and ask why he's suddenly a good guy.

They are definitely using different character models for the Skylander NPCs.

Spyro's weird eyebrows kinda weird me out, but other than that's I am LOVING these cutscenes.

There are a few good examples in SC of nice NPCs (queen of the cloud kingdom, the collector) which feel more like mere mission givers.

And please, if we finally get to visit jet's hometown, the sky barons should have wings, The jet pack was something particular to jet vac, not the whole kingdom.

I agree with you on the jet pack thing...it pissed me off when I saw every sky baron with one .

We haven't seen other Sky Barons besides Jet-Vac and the robotic ones.

TFB are using a different character model for Spyro and the other NPC Skylanders. That's why he looks a little different than his gameplay model.

Gill Grunt appears at the opening of Mushroom River. I don't know if he appears on the stage itself or the ending, tough. But he's full of dialogue.

Oh. We knew about that during Gamescom. Skylander Boy and Girl released a video play through of the level and talked over that particular cutscene

Mostly the dad talked over it. But there's a non-commentary one out in the wild.
