I've seen some sites that'll start coverage of their games tomorrow(Battlefield 1 will have an entire stream), so I think we'll have some online stuff first. It's a possibility.

I hate saying this, but I'm not that hyped for Cortex. I don't have a connection to anything Crash related and I find Cortex very ugly (and not the awesome kind of ugly, more like Easter Thrillipede ugly).

I still honestly don't get the hate that Crash was getting. He looks exactly the same as he does in the older games. They keep citing the one screenshot where he's squished a little bit more than usual and make it seem like "They ROOINED it!!!!1!1!!1" but if you actually look at the gameplay... He looks fine!

Call me crazy, but I can kind of make out a sorceror icon on Doctor Neo Cortex.

I'm pretty sure Cortex will be a Bazooker, Quickshot or in a class of his own.

Well that explains why the Crash edition cost quite a bit more than just one figure.

I think hes either a Sorcerer or a Bazooker.

I'm not including Quickshot because I don't want it to happen.

Yeah, just going off the shape, even in the blurred picture, the only symbol that matches is Sorcerer's. It makes no sense, but what can you do.

Well, Grave Clobber and Tae Kwon Crow don't make sense too, so yeah, what can ya do.

Tae Kwon Crow's battle class makes total sense at least. Grave Clobber is the only character so far who is a total enigma.

Yeah. I mean, if Cortex is a Quickshot, then Grave Clobber can easily become a second Water Brawler. There has already been hints to that, but at least it makes somewhat some sense.

I'm interested but not excited. I've never played a Crash game so I don't know either character but I am expecting something really huge from this all. I believe that the level which unlocks with Crash will serve as an introduction to next year's Crash game. Cortex will be the ranting boss of the stage and will become a figure for reasons much like how Kaos became one. I mean if they are just playable figures without any cool reason for them to be there in the game, then it'll be as interesting as having Bowser and DK in last years game.

So if they have a really good reason for them to be in game, and a Crash-like level to play, then it could be a very cool thing indeed.

Yeah, I guessed he would be in the Crash Pack and he'd be an extra character, making Tech and Life those two elements with an extra Sensei.

Bio: A wormhole has opened in Skylands and the great Aku Aku appears! He has come to announce the once-in-two-decades Synchronization Celebration--a time when all of the worlds align perfectly. All the inhabitants of Wumpa Island are having a party and they want to invite the Skylanders. But with Kaos on a quest to take over Skylands using his army of Doomlanders, the Skylanders must focus on stopping his evil plans. Fearing that Kaos might conquer Wumpa island before he did, Dr. Neo Cortex followed Crash to become a Skylander, and through Crash's statement on the time they fought the Evil Twins together, Cortex was able to become a Skylander on the spot.
Attack 1: Shoots enemies with a blast from his bazooka
Attack 2: Sends out mini clones to help
Attack 3: Switches to one of three weapons a bazooka, a flamethrower, or a poison bomb gun

Hey guys, don't be so sure the guest stars aren't a part of the 30 character roster. That photo of the poster didn't have any visible colors. However, you could make out rows of smudges:
5 rows on the right collumn, 5 on the left.
There were DEFINITELY only 30 smudges. However:
The first row in each collumn DEFINITELY had 4 smudges, and the bottom ones only had 2 smudges.
This, of course, would indicate that 2 elements have extra characters, and 2 are short one.
I'd presume that those elements are tech and life, and that "31 characters" means 28 Skylanders, crash, Neo Cortex, and Kaos, not 30 Skylanders and those 3.
Just as the Superchargers "20 character roster" counted 1 less light and dark character and 1 extra fire and life character.

So tech is the element with 4 Senseis as well. Wow we are close to completing this year's roster and I am getting more excited for this game.

A Tech Sorcerer? Interesting! Only seen a few videos of Crash games but if Cortex's gameplay is good, I may actually pick him up (providing he works on Wii U and unlocks the Crash level, of course)!

1. If I end up not wanting the game (but there's a high chance I will because who can say no to character customisation?), then I hope Crash and Cortex will be sold separately like DK and Bowser were because I would just like to own them for my collection.

2. I hope either Clancy Brown or Lex Lang will voice Cortex again.

Well, I was definitely right about them making exceptions for Guest Stars in terms of Battle Class weapons. The matching classes are pretty reasonable IMO, and since Crash unlocks the same Secret Technique as King Pen, we should expect Cortex to unlock the same Secret Technique as Golden Queen.

Don't care too much for cortex, neither in a good or bad way. But seeing how is making everybody happy, I guess it's good.

I don't think that's a staff, but TFB is super high this year anyway.

I did think it was odd how his weapon doesn't really indicate his class, but I have no problem with it now. TFB has been doing weirder stuff than this so far. xD

I'm actually fine with that, since it seems like not all Sorcerers have to weild a staff. Good Job TFB! But I honestly think he's only a Sorcerer to match GQ.

Posted in the Cortex topic, but I thought I'd post my thoughts on Cortex being a sorcerer here too ...

It's difficult to imagine but I guess a Tech sorcerer was always gonna be a difficult notion.
A sorcerer of the tech element would have to break outside the box of what we would consider a usual " sorcerer" anyway, considering it's supposed to be the element that is opposite to magic.

It's hard to tell what to expect considering we haven't seen the primary attack of what defines an imaginators of the sorcerer class . But I assume it's something like shooting a magic project tiles from the end of their staffs/ wands, so I guess that could translate to Cortex's gun .

I'm not familiar with Cortex's past game abilities , but for some other tech element " sorcerer" abilities , I'm imagining something similar to the tech element spell punk that summoned a targeting laser from the sky( I always imagined a satellite) would suit a Tech Element Sorcerer quite well. Where the tech aspect of being a sorcerer would translate to very advanced technology taking on the appearance of magic .

Anyway, still going to wait until all characters are revealed before planning out which Senseis I want to get.

@Buuzer - Probably because Light and Dark got fewer characters the last two games, and the inclusion of Crash in Life and Cortex in Tech probably means those two elements will have four characters (Which for Crash's case is confirmed).

We had a leak about them and their battle classes, but not their elements.
They could be something OTHER than light and dark...

Even with my setup, tech, earth, air AND magic are missing nonvillain Senseis.
They could each fall under a couple of those.
