Since no one made one of these, I decided to make one. I think Cortex might be like Kaos and he might have his own class since he has one gun and no classes have 1 gun.

What's his moveset even gonna be like? Cortex really has never had much of an attack pattern in the games besides shooting lasers. I suppose he could drop mines and summon Uka Uka.

He should summon his iconic Rocketsled!

There is none as of right now. We only have the blurry picture. We'll get a better look at it once Gamescom comes around!

It's the icon for the Skylanders part, but the link to the actual thing is broken. You can see it's the same picture as the one shown above since the starter pack has white on top, unlike the other versions.

It looks like he will be bazooker as In his artwork on the cover he's using one gun. unlike Kaos he also has a class symbol on his base.

I was worried that Neo Cortex would replace King Pen and Golden Queen, but I'm glad they all come together. Thank the Skylander Gods.

Golden Queen would have made the most sense to be replaced since she is a villain

Also something else I noticed... If I really focus on Cortex's battle class, it looks like 2 swords crossing.

Swashbuckler. Theres a good chance this isn't true, but it kinda looks like it.

Honestly, I see some kind of circle.

Bazooker's a stylized horizontal bazooka, so I'd personally opt that out.
The remaining ones are Brawler and Quickshot.

And since he has a ray-gun, I think the latter is likely.
The gun is really not that bigger than Krankcase's.

Class aside, what's up with the red under his eyes? It's seriously bothering me, I don't remember those.

I guess it's a weird shadow or reflection, either of his own head or the orange Tech text-box above him.

That looks.... Kinda disgusting. But as someone said on Crash's design, the good comical kind of disgusting. I can live with it.

Yeah, he may simply have bags under his eyes, for a comical evil scientist effect.

Looking at Crash, Cortex's figure might not be that indicative of his in-game look.

Going for that crazy scientist look.

Of course, my Crash friend saw this and started sobbing. RIP him.

Why does the battle class symbol look so tiny?

To be honest, the shape of it only matches up with Sorcerer.

He might have a tiny bazooka or he could be a quick shoot with just one gun IDK

Update on the situation- I can't explain his reaction any other way than this.

I checked several sites and it's legit. Dr. Neo Cortex will be the newest Sensei from an outside franchise and will be in the Crash edition with King Pen, Golden Queen and Crash himself.
Now I can understand the $100 price.
Now, for us PS owners, things have been kicked up a notch...or two.

Things I need to clarify:
-Cortex isn't holding a Bazooka, he's holding his Ray gun (though for some reason it's grey here)
-The red eyelids have always been part of his design up until Crash Twinsanity

Wow, so Crash Bandicoot officially has as many playable characters as Spyro now. And there's an adventure pack based on the Crash Bandicoot series, whereas the Spyro series just got Sparx and some sheep in terms of in-game references. I wonder if Spyro feels usurped.
