The re-elemented villains seem to have at least something in their design that fits in their new elements, even if it's their color (and Grave Clobber also had surf rock as his theme in TT, so there's also that). Pain-Yatta's design doesn't fit air at all.

I was going back through old videos and noticed at around the :30 mark he says "...even in some cases, decides your size." I know this is an old video and it could be subject to change but this is definitely evidence for locked in body types.

I know y'all are bored so let's discuss body types further. Do you think they'll lock those in?

That "portal" should be blacklisted from ever seeing existence again. Plus it doesn't even fit this game.

From the looks the standard Starter Pack comes with the Swap Force Portal. The Dark Edition comes with the SuperChargers one.

It's not a case of normal VS Dark Edition, it's based on region. It's just that the only content view of a Dark Edition we've seen is from Aus/NZ.

However, it's clearly a prototype or something along those lines. It's way taller than he is in comparison to his legs, and looks like there's a hole where his head is supposed to be? Either way, more proof towards him being a thing after all.

Maybe they redesigned him to look like that. No idea, he doesn't even have a base. But he's holding that weapon down him. So yeah, Smasher like they said.

The thing in the face looks like a mask to me. And now he has brown stripes too?

Is that a weapon or the edge of his speaker? I can't actually tell.
Going back to the fated reveal day here to see if anyone actually noticed it then.

Looks like a weapon to me. I can see that he's holding it.

Neat! I can't wait to see the full figure.

Although there is chance that it's just the McDonalds toy.

Definitely not the McDonalds toy. The figure there clearly has a blue spike, while the McDonalds one has no blue spikes on the top.

The McDonalds' toy was way smaller and wasn't such a weird pose. The kids tried to pull a fake with it several times before so it's hardly unfamiliar.

Actually, I took that screenshot off of the 'a day at Skylanders HQ' video. Fire_Fiesta's screen grab was from the reveal video, where it was near-impossible to make out Tree Rex, and Pain-Yatta was just a blur of colors.

Granted, I only knew where to look due to his video, so yeah, good on him for pointing us in the right direction ;P

This is what I mean by lacking a head. It can't be that tall either, because Pain-yatta's hunchback is pretty ridiculous.



Also another thing... They COULD make him work as a Light villain, by using his Evolved form...


Though this picture itself puts that into question, so it's very unlikely.

As I said, he could have been redesigned to be taller and with a smaller head (and a... Wood mask?).

I remember looking at that Pain-Yatta when it came out, but I couldn't pause the video to look at it. I thought it was just the McDonald's figure in the end, but that's definitely not it. But yeah, if that's the new figure then it has to be a really early version.

New Brawler, this one is my favourite so far.

It seems like that level's skybox, but it could be any nighttime level, just give it a bounce pad and a good angle.

It's nice how they're showing some creative ways to use the default set of parts with your Imaginator. It adds a cool effect!

So, I found E3 gameplay footage by Nintendo World Report. It's everything we already saw, but I recommend someone to look and see if they have part we didn't knew, like Green Ray Guns or something like that.

It was shown when the guy got a Chest. It was called a Quickshot Weapon.

Well, I guess the default sparkles will be great for showcasing Gear sets.

Those Imaginators are the best they've made, in my opinion.
