Most of them were vehicles, but Vehicles are still more original characters than Imaginators are looking to be.

Ok, now you're just being silly. Just because a few of the Imaginators don't look all that appealing to you doesn't mean the ENTIRE system itself is bad. You can make bad characters in any creator no matter how in-depth it is.

Superchargers had dumb vehicles. While I think they were cool toys, in the game they were fun until you had to do them ALL the TIME! This is honestly a MUCH more compelling gimmick to me than Vehicles will ever be.

I didn't played SuperChargers, so I can't say about the Vehicle gameplay. But for me the idea of the Vehicles itself was much more well-made than it could be. The idea for the figures was pretty well-done and their use with the characters was also well-tough. They may not be the best gimmick gameplay-wise, but for me, the concept and use with the Skylanders was well-tough.

The idea of Imaginators Skylanders is also being well-done. For me the idea of Battle Classes was pretty good to organize how they will work. The only downside is that it has some limitations that I wish it didn't had, like the body type thing. But, aside from that, it's looking well done for me.

Well, I can definitely agree that vehicles are indeed more defined figures than "generic" elemental crystals but in terms of actual Imaginators it's all up to us.

Not to mention that that very same reveal trailer actually showed many vehicles and characters we never got to know and see until a couple months or so before the release, such as Gold Rusher and Buzz Wing.
Actually... Were we so blind to not see Thrillipede and Trigger Happy's vehicle in that trailer, because I distinctly remember me speculating about both of them waaaay after the reveal.

Maybe I simply saw a longer cut of that trailer.

Yeah, but the real meat was also the Gamescon coverage and trailer. I know most people ignored my dumb analysis pictures but we found sooo much there, names, voices, pretty much every villain.

The complete opposite, they were extremely helpful and interesting.

I'm hoping for something similar for this year's Gamescon, in terms of hype at least.
And yeah, the trailer I just saw was an extended version of the reveal one, but still we had to wait quite a bit to properly know about Tomb Buggy and Stealth Stinger, for example.

It's not that different from Wild Storm and the Water Quickshot actually.

well, i'm gonna go over what we got from all the past gamescoms.

GIANTS/GAMESCOM 2012- Ninjini soul gem, full poster images from attendees. truly the best one

SWAP FORCE/GAMESCOM 2013- Grilla Drilla/Boom Jet/Slobber Tooth/Zoo Lou official reveals, the snow level

TRAP TEAM/GAMESCOM 2014- Kaos Doom Arena, Kaboom/Bushwhack/Headrush, Minis, tablet version, more villains

SUPERCHARGERS/GAMESCOM 2015- Online Racing/COOP, Nightfall/Jetstream/stealthstinger, 3ds/ios version, a racing circlejerk, and a big kaos trophy

so i predict for 2016...

chopscotch and hood sickle in their full glory

it was actually confirmed that chopscotch would be at gamescom, and since hood sickle was at ss16 i'd expect him..


"official" reveals of barbella and at least one other villain we've seen

applying the logic of past games, i'd expect barbella and one other villain (i'd say either krankcase or tae kwon crow, but chompy mage/grave clobber would be noice) to show.

at least one "new" character

ka-boom was very faintly seen in a short trailer before gamescom, and then made the rounds at gamescom 2014! so i'd expect one character we know really nothing about.

(boom bloom, air strike, mysticat, pit boss, flarewolf, aurora, tech pirate guy, light yeti thing, the hooded bowslinger, wild storm, and the squid girl are who we really know nothing about)

so any one of those is gonna be in my predict list. i HIGHLY doubt we'd get to know about the light villain/last two senseis there

but every gamescom since '14- we got a big thingy. tt was kaos mode, minis, and tablet. sc was online and racing. so for im, i hope we get some kind of sharing for imaginators OR a battle mode.

we only need to see 3 more senseis (magic/tech/light villain) so i'd expect like a trailer to come out, and somebody to say "WHAO LUMINOUS IS IN THE BACKGROUND!!!!!!"

It would be nice as well to get more news on the different skills for the imaginators. There's been a lot of focus on the different body/gear parts, but not that much on the powers.

I'll keep an eye for that magazine if I ever see it in my country.

Guys! I think Grave Clobber might just be a second Water Brawler after all. Look at this Imaginator right here! His weapon look a lot similar to Grave Clobber's weapon!

I know this makes literally no sense but we also got to remember that on the blurry poster, you can see that 2 of the Elements have more than 3 spots for them. Maybe Water is one of those Elements?

Or maybe TFB is still high as a kite and none of it will make sense!

I don't think the Grave Clobber Knuckles indicate his class, there's still the possibility it's just from a themed set. But yeah, TFB's all over the place, we won't know until then.

Nope. There's a smaaaalll chance this month's issue of Skylanders Magazine has a tiny something and some users will give it a quick look(just the UK version though, we don't know if the German version, which had the Imaginators reveal in July, will get a different article), but we're not counting on much.

Remember in Swap Force where eight Swap Force characters (of each element, obviously) had each of the eight movements, and the other half of the Swap Force characters (again, of each element) had each of the eight movements?

Like, for example:
Wash Buckler (Water, Climb)
Blast Zone (Fire, Rocket)
Magna Charge (Tech, Speed)
Stink Bomb (Life, Sneak)
Rubble Rouser (Earth, Dig)
Free Ranger (Air, Spin)
Rattle Shake (Undead, Bounce)
Hoot Loop (Magic, Teleport)

That's only half. Then here's the other half.

Anyway, the main thing I wanted to tell is when I was checking BR leker (Scandinavian's version of Toys R Us) I came over this in the Skylanders Imaginators page.


This might be the rumored Kaos figure.

Huh. Interesting! Not fully proof of a Kaos figure. Might be a Legendary variant or a random figure from Wave 1.

I think that base design is just for the question mark. All bases on actual figures are the same on both side. The one in that picture is all sorts of scattered. I don't think that'll be the real base on whatever figure is included.

I wake up at 6, that's only 30 minutes apart.

It's not scattered, you can tell it's a curvy spike design. Because Dark is swirls, it couldn't have been created for an existing element(too weird for Light and Air as well, which are the only elements we don't have figure pictures of).
