so.. i think after the new images, the class division could be like this.

Brawler- King Pen, Air Strike, Light Villain
Sorcerer- Golden Queen, Pit Boss, Mysticat
Ninja- Tae Kwon Crow, Starcast, TBC Sensei
Smasher- Tri Tip, Chopscotch, Chompy mage
Quickshot- Boom Bloom, Dr. Krankcase, Unnamed water sensei
Knight- Wild Storm, Ambush, Pain-Yatta
Sentinel- Ember, Hood Sickle, Barbella
Bazooker- Flarewolf, TBC Sensei, Grave Clobber
Bowslinger- Wolfgang, Unnamed light sensei, unnamed dark sensei
Swashbuckler- Aurora, Unnamed tech sensei, Bad Juju

so i think the remaining senseis will be a magic ninja, a tech bazooker, and a light brawler.

we know 6 villains with confirmed classes.

golden queen- sorcerer
wolfgang- bowslinger
dr. krankcase- quickshot
bad juju- swashbuckler
hood sickle- sentinel
tae kwon crow- ninja

which means earth, undead, tech, air, dark, and fire are covered.

which leaves

pain yatta
chompy mage
grave clobber
light villain.

so i have theories for these.

chompy mage as a smasher. in trap team, he mainly used his staff to whack people on the head. sure, he could also summon/become chompies. and if tfb can make grave clobber a WATER villain, they can make chompy mage a smasher- and keep his chompy power.

pain-yatta as a knight. not gonna repeat the whole halberd theory that other people have stated- so tl;dr, he uses a different axe. plus, we already have a smasher with and axe.

grave clobber as a bazooker. he could be like mega man, and shoot water balls/his hand from one arm.

so if my theories are correct, that means our light element villain is a brawler.

Ok so I came up with a cool Boom Bloom concept.

So, this first one is her as a Quickshot. Basically, she shoots sharp thorns out of her guns (this already sounds stupid I know but I couldn't think of anything else)

Her second attack would be shooting a vine, that would work as a helpful friend, so it works as living vines that trap enemies so she can kill them.

Third attack would be shooting explosive flowers out of her artichoke hair buns!

Ok imma leave because of this stupid concept BYE NOW!

All of this makes perfect sense. Just cause chompy mage can summon Chompies doesn't mean he's a sorcerer as his playable form could just be an extension of his smashing ability in TT.

Alright, so after thinking some more, this is what I believe to be the second most likely outcome.

The main problem with Air Strike being a Brawler is that the Air Element would only have melee classes, while all others have at least 1 melee class and 1 ranged class, assuming Bad Juju is still Air. I really don't want this to happen...

Air Strike's name screams Bazooker or at the very least a ranged attack.

Not necessarily. Could also mean like striking with his fists.

Even though I think it's probably likely, I kind of hope Air Strike's not a Brawler too, as all the elements seem to either have two melee and one ranged or vice versa. And with Wild Storm being a Knight, and assuming Bad Juju's not changing her element too, that would leave Air without a ranged class.

"Air Strike", as a term, refers to, an I quote:

"the bombing or strafing of a city, enemy force, etc., by military aircraft"

I don't feel like they would name him after an air strike if he didn't have projectiles.

Barbella already broke that by being a Sentinel, and Tri-Tip being a Smasher.

No, he's not talking about both new characters being one ranged and one melee. He's talking about the element as a whole. As said before, the villains aren't different from the regular Senseis. We just think of them like that because we've seen them before.

No, not happening. He's not a Bazooker. That's reaching WAY too far to try to justify him as a Bazooker.

You don't work at Activision though... It's not stretching too far because it does make sense. If that hand is shoved into that Bazooka, then it can work with the Chompy Puppet, and he can still summon chompies with his staff. It makes sense, and it would be super super cool.
