Here's how I think it will be

Grave clobber: Bowslinger (there will be two, also he will be changed to magic)
Dreamcatcher: Bazooker (bad juju will be changed to water)
Trolling thunder: knight (he will be the light villain)
Broccoli guy: brawler (no element change)

Anyway, yeah, if my theory on two Battle Classes getting shafted is wrong, I feel like that is the most likely outcome.

The Chompy-Mage is either a Brawler, Sorcerer, Smasher or Bazooker. Brawler if he uses his Chompy puppet to bite enemies and then uses his staff for the rest of his attacks, Sorcerer, if he casts spells from his staff, Smasher if he take's Pain-yatta's role and uses his staff like he did in Trap Team, or a Bazooker if he can fire Chompies from his staff, which I doubt. I'm thinking the first 3 are the real possibilities here.

Anyway, your not the only one with a halberd idea, so he doesn't have to give you credit for anything.

I've got a few questions that might have very simple answers I'm just blanking on:

1. Why exactly can't Grave Clobber be a Brawler alongside King Pen? Has it been stated that classes can't repeat within an element or are we just assuming?

2. Why can't Painyatta just be a Brawler?

Unspoken rule. It s a waste of potential to have two of the same class in the same element, and for a game/character designer you'd be lazy not to think around that.

Painyatta can be a brawler, we're just going off the theory he's the missing one in the Smasher lineup and the candy axe mentioned in an interview.

Not exactly? If they want to keep this even, then they have to do 5 DR and 5 Normal Villains, and they've been doing that so far.

They never said they would do "5 doom raiders and 5 normal" they just said "11 returning villains" therefore it doesn't have to be another doom raider.

It makes the most sense. It would make the villain roster even, more even then 6 Non-Doom Raiders and just 4 DR.

If they dont do Luminous as the Light Villain, they messed up the villains greatly.

True, it makes a lot of sense. But this game isn't strong in the logic department.

The Class rule works quite the same way as the Swap Force Ability rule, for an example.

Also, I was looking up trivia on some other game, and I noticed a weapon that could be used for Swashbucklers - A khanda is double edged, has a bit of a tough design to it rather than flexible, and is kinda remiscent of a chainsaw and even has a hilt that resembles a cutlass's. This could easily be a weapon for Tech Beardman since his design appears to be very tough and wouldn't really fit a delicate blade,or even Bad Juju since her design has a lot of rectangular shapes, though I think if she stays Air she's going to wield Lightningrods - come on and tell me this doesn't look like a weapon.

Just because one villain wouldn't appear doesn't mean it is messed up.

I feel like they wanted to make Nightshade dark, but he was an adventure pack villain so not everyone knew who he was. Could be the same case with Luminous. At this point, I'm probably just gonna stop speculating and see what happens...

Bad Juju can't be Light if we can't have two of the same class. Aurora is also Swashbuckler.

Luminous is actually my least favorite Light Villain. He's a little overrated to be honest. But at the end of the day, he is the only Villain who is actually Light, and fits the role of Sensei perfectly.

Still though, if Activision pulls something funny and makes Lob Goblin or Eye Five (or both) the Light Sensei, I will not only jump around naked in the streets, but laugh my butt off.

So this is a total speculation based on very little evidence, but...

What if two elements are getting shafted, but those elements are magic and tech? If you look at the leaked poster, it does look like two elements have less figures (Note again this isn't a cold hard fact, it can't be confirmed so it's speculation). Since we haven't seen a potential second non villain for magic and tech, maybe it's possible those are the elements only getting two figures. It's unlikely, but I think it's at least worth mentioning.

It could also be categorizing characters by battle class rather than element, like Bionichute suggested.

While interesting, I don't think it's likely, since Magic and Tech have always been a part of the main eight elements while Light and Dark haven't really been recognized as main additions yet, getting fewer characters than the other elements each game. I wouldn't be surprised if that trend continues here.

God no. Mysticat isn't enough satisfaction for Magic and Tech would go back to being one of my least favorite elements.

I agree Luminous is a BIT overreacted, but his design is really nice and hes fabulous and has some pretty awesome attacks.

Could we agree not to use the poster as reference? It's WAY too blurry, AND in a darkened area. We could at least wait for the next time the box shows up and use some light on it.

We already know that Life will get more characters. I'm guessing the 11th Villain is close of another element, being of it or not.

It could also be literally close, since in some posters some elements are pretty close together. If we saw the TT one from afar we'd just see 5 smudges that resemble lines(unable to see where Trap Masters are), some nothing in the middle and this huge black smear where Dark and Light were supposed to be.

That's what I meant actually. If it's Kaos for example, he can be of his element and close to the Undead or Dark part of the poster.

I honestly think this pre-release might be worse than Trap Team's and that is saying something.

Well it is. At this point I think Minis were revealed and we were getting trailers daily at least for them. I'm just using TT as a comparison for a mystery roster, since they got revealed with the full poster leak.

Oh yeah, the Marketing Team is dead for this game. I thought the "Random Imaginator of the Day" on Instagram was nice for a while but I really want to see more stuff. More Gameplay! More Character Reveals! ANYTHING!?! It just sucks how little we know about this game right now.

Maybe the reason there's so little new stuff is because they're still trying to make the final build of the game.

They could still show the two revealed levels with no footage. PR has always been apathetic(just try any of the social medias, not only one person posts everything, they seem to have no reading comprehension because in big reveals they answer stuff like a robot even if it's unrelated(i.e. "PVP? You mean Battlecast? It's coming out in 2016!"), but this time it's even worse than usual.

I just hope we get some B-Roll gameplay soon, but I don't expect anything. I just want new gameplay of a character and I'm satisfied.

When are the website updates, usually like a week or two before the game launches?
Just curious since everyone's getting impatient again.
Not that I can blame them as Gamescom can't come soon enough for me.

Let's see, I believe the Superchargers was two weeks away from launch. They released an extended trailer to go along with it on August 30th.

Granted, they could always pull what they pulled last year and restrict the site to only the characters we know about, which would suck balls! We found a way around it, though.

To be honest, I'm not to concerned with seeing gameplay. I just want to know the roster and the battle classes for everyone. Heck, I don't care if I don't see anymore gameplay until the release. I just want to know all the characters.

I don't want any of the levels spoiled for me so I for the most part am avoiding the gameplay videos. Besides the core Gameplay I assume will be the same as it has been since Swap Force.
Yeah I just want to know the full roster AND when I can start preordering my characters for day 1.
