Ya'll remember how we saw a Tae Kwon Crow samurai sword or something in the character creator, and he eventually became a Sensei? We also found a Blaster Tron sword, and now I'm worried that that means no Luminous!

Guy, it was a Tae Kwon Crow's sword. That means not the weapon he actually uses in the game.

We already knew that some old characters will have parts on the game, so no need to worry for now.

I actually think it is more likely to be Eye-Five. Since Light will likely be a Brawler.

I'm still standing by what I said a week ago that if your fav villain wasn't released this year, you'll probably see him next year or so sometime in the future. They have to hold some popular characters back to keep us hooked and wishing, you know?

Next year it's likely we'll get a lineup of Sky-Friends such as Tessa, Cali and Flynn to help the Skylanders out and make it the year's gimmick. We may get few reformed leftover baddies like Dreamcatcher, Luminous and Mesmerelda but I think they could save them for Sky 8 with a batch of friends in a mixed release.

I don't know why but I'm becoming pessimistic about luminous, as much as I want him.

Nightshade didn't made it, which, being from one "of the special elements", makes me wonder if luminous will have the same fate.

Plus, the fact villains are being elementally reallocated, has suddenly and dramatically increase the number of competitors for light villainy.

I would rather have Blaster-tron than Luminous as our light villain.

Let's just wait, for all we know Luminous got over his fear of shadows and turned Water.

I dunno, I just remember hearing somewhere that there was a Tae Kwon Crow weapon of some sort. Also am I really the only one on this forum that thinks Cuckoo Clocker would make a better brawler than Eye Five?

Nope. I really don't like Eye-Five, and I'm ok with Cuckoo Clocker.

Is Eye Five even all that popular? I only see him talked about because of how well he fits the Brawler class, but I think TfB cares way more about popularity than anything else. They can easily give popular characters a new fighting style or element, but they can't easily make an unpopular character popular.

But Luminous is the champion of Brock's Rumble Club, and Wolfgang was not an archer in Trap Team soooo...

I want Luminous as a knight, Cuckoo Clocker as a brawler, and Gulped as a bazooker.

I like Eye Five as a design, but his gameplay was just kinda... ehhh.

It seems their only choosing villains on the more popular side anyway... I doubt anyone played Trap Team with the thought process of "I need Eye Five in my trap slot for the best playing experience!"

Yeah, I pretty much agree.

They are most likely choosing the most popular villains (for real, this time), otherwise I hardly doubt we'd have both Tae Kwon Crow and Bad Juju; Hood Sickle was most likely a forced choice.

This would probably mean Chill Bill and Broccoli Guy are guaranteed to return (bye bye Gulpy) despite them being already in the game as speakers, but hey, c'est la vie!

The fact that he basically has one of the most powerful attacks in the game is something more memorable than most of the villains, to be completely honest.

But in all honesty, his chances went down once Tae Kwon Crow got revealed, since I doubt that they're gonna be doing 2 bird villain figures, and Tae was basically the most memorable of them as well.

And I agree, two purple humanoid avians in the same game could be too much.

Yeah, but he doesn't have anything at all to do with light (neither does Lod Goblin). Sure they could give him light powers but look at the other notable light charachters:

an angel like being(Knight Light)
An angelic dragon(Spotlight)
A Star Wars like spaceman(Astroblast)
A being of pure light(Luminous)
A robot that shoots lasers(Blaster Tron)

And then here's this pink.....thing.

Admittedly I kind of like Eye Five and would greatly prefer him to Lob Goblin but I'd prefer Luminous or Blaster Tron.

Also, I'm starting to think we might Luminous after all. He was and still is one of the most popular Trap Team villains, and he fits the Light element so well that he just screams it. Also, I've noticed something that might mean Blaster-Tron is not going to be the villain for this element: We've all seen the Blast Sword, the original thing that's been leading us to believe that he might be in. It's obvious that it has something to do with him, be it his actual weapon or a reference. But, I also noticed that an Imaginator that was posted on Instagram by TFB, a Bazooker, they had a bazooka that looked very Blaster-Tronish. This might mean that we're just going to get a few weapons referencing him, and Luminous might be the Light villain after all. I hope so. I might be wrong though, so don't get your hopes up.

I'll just hope blaster makes it his attacks are cool luminous attack were very confusing to me his attack were like prism break lazer attack

Step 2: Put your trap with Luminous in the portal.
Step 3: Just wait in the Academy until he says the line.

Eye Five really doesn't fit for me. Eletric powers are associated with Tech and Air just as much, and there's not even something on his palette resembling yellow or white.

Eye Five fits in a way, since eyes are organs that process light. Granted, it wouldve been way better if he used them to actually shoot out light beams or whatever.

Lob Goblin definitely should've been Tech though. Honestly all the trolls except.Chill Bill should've been Tech.

Luminous is the only villain that really fits the Light Element, in my opinion. I mean, hes a being of pure light. Sooo....

Only luminous fits light out of the four basically, but I bet they'll pull the "Oh, he was an exspansion pack character so it doesn't matter if he's popular or not because not everyone has him!" thing. That would also eliminate lob goblin leaving us with eye five and blaster tron in the main game, but eye five wasn't as popular so.....

Luminous slow since he flies his song dosent fit it well in my opinion he kinda like prism break since his attack summon crystal like prism break that lazer go trough every direction like I said before.

So yeah well just wait an see. If blaster tron makes it or luminous unless they change another villian type into light

Not saying that I hate luminous I just don't wanna see him fly all the time they should making him walk at least too or have option to fly or walk

None of their songs fit they aren't even composed by the team.

Blaster tron fits well cause he's a robot the theme kinda robotic techno
Eye scream fits her too since she's a Halloween related character

true. he's just the generic "i'm gonna blow stuff up and be a rebel" archetype.

some of my favorite villains (smoke scream, luminous, ect) are favorites due to personality.

He's basically low rent Boomer. I vaguely remember his gameplay being alright, but the rest of him is just bleeeh.
