I think anything potentially added to the Crash started wouldn't be a replacement. Currently the Crash starter has the same pre-order price as the dark edition implying it includes enough extra stuff to justify that price. So if Cortex is included, he shouldn't replace anyone he would be an addition.

Is it me or does hood sickle looks legitimately terrifying.
The details on his hood just makes him seem more of that grim reaper/ executioner design on him I love the detail they gave him.

You never know with this game. Everything is unexpected, though I feel if they were in the same pack, I feel like they would both be announced at the same time.

They gotta save something for SDCC, don't they? They already revealed the Dark Edition, which they normally do there, and we still haven't seen the Crash Pack in full. I know they also reveal EEs there, too, but they usually do something with the Dark Edition, which is already done.

They might reveal more characters. We'll see idk.

Actually yeah, Kaboom and Bushwhack, along with Head Rush were revealed at Gamescom not SDCC. Honestly I think that we may not get anything but new gameplay of the same characters we've seen. That saddens me of course, but I get the feeling that SDCC wont have much in terms of Skylanders content (if anything in the worst case scenario.)

But hey, Gamescom starts around the 8th of August I believe so its not a huge wait. If they dont have anything at SDCC then we will for sure have something at Gamescom. They just cant go almost 2 months without showing the game to anyone

Also we only got Gulper and Sheep Creep reveals at SDCC for Trap Team. Along with them they showed some more gameplay of characters we had seen. Im guessing they show Hood Sickle and maybe one more character and hopefully a new level

We already know we might get some comic stuff on Sunday(i know, only I care before they're out), and Academy was deconfirmed by Eric.
