When hood sickle was revealed most of us thought that he could be the 11th villan and that choosing him for that role is a bit odd and now that we have confirmation that he won't be the 11th Villan which Villan is going to perfect for this role ( Besides Kaos ) and why ???
I think that eon would offer Kaos's mom a deal he would free her from her mirror prison if she joined the good side and became a sensei

I would like to have Kaos mom as a villain. Se was very charismatic: smart, powerful and self confident. However, she has been very forgotten since then, which makes me wonder if she has any real chances.

She was mentioned in super chargers and in ambush's back story so she's not completely forgotten

That 11th villain must be special, its probably going to be Kaos....

I hope for Malefor though lol... but he is way too big

Yeah, but I ment gameplay wise...which is a pity really, she would make up for an incredible character.

You know how much Acti loves Kaos, so he will probably be the 11th.

I really don't want it to be Kaos...it won't make any sense for him to be the antagonist and one of the sensies

I'm thinking it will either be Glumshanks, Mesmeralda, or Spellslamzer.

If you mean Skylanders' home page, it doesn't say the number of reformed villains anywhere, just that there are 31 Senseis. And we already have an extra in the form of Crash.

Kaos because you could fight kaos with kaos in trap team, so it wouldn't be to different here.

I also think it will be Kaos and it probably doesn't hurt the story anymore then playing Jet-Vac and having Jet-vac be apart of that story mission or any other hero centered missions.
I wish I could say with confidence too that it would end him being the "main" villain like some of us thought with Trap Team but I doubt it will.
Unless it's Dr. Cortex, Kaos Mom or Glumshanks I can't see any other Major villain that would be a huge reveal.

Yeah, this is what I was talking about. This was sent to The8bittheater and FGTV, the other buzzword summary was sent to some blogs,the interview with Paul Reiche to others.

Note: The previous wasn't just a blog post, it's a document for Activision's investors (thus an official source).

With that out of the way, thanks for finally providing an actual link to an actually official source for the other point of view. I'm still sceptical, given how their numbers haven't always been accurate, but I'm leaning more towards 11 Villains now.

At least now I know where to look for their press assets, rather than trying to search for it, so thanks for that too.

I didn't even know they kept track of those, Businesswire always has press releases but theirs are different than this one. Might be a difference between investor and ELI5 text depending on their audience, like talking to shareholder vs. actual fans during conventions.

It's kind of diffrent because with jet-vac....jet-vac is a protagonist and he's protecting skylands while on the other hand koas can't be an antagonist and a protagonist at the same time that's kind of messed up.

All right, if the eleventh villain rumor is true, then here are my guesses, I guess:

Kaos definitely seems to be the most likely candidate, simply based on the fact that we've been able to play as him in some form in the last two games. In Trap Team he was one of the redeemable villains, and in Superchargers he had his own trophy for Sky Races. Yes, I am aware that he is the main antagonist of this game, but

A ) That hasn't stopped them from making him playable before, and

B ) If characters like Jet-Vac and Eruptor can be both playable and NPCs, then Kaos can be playable and the final boss.

Plus they'd probably come up with some stupid reason as to why that's the case anyway, like maybe during the story Kaos accidentally imagines up a clone of himself who has the same personality as Mirror of Mystery Kaos, and THAT's the Kaos we play as. Or something.

From the looks of it, it probably is only going to be villains from Trap Team, meaning we can probably rule out Mesmeralda, Count Moneybone, Malefor, or Glumshanks, since none of them were redeemable in Trap Team. And honestly, it's hard for me to see any villain in Trap Team as being "special enough" to warrant being a surprise eleventh villain Sensei other than Kaos.

So... Yeah. That's my honest prediction, provided the 11th villain rumor is true.

I want it to be Glumshanks. Make him a Tech Bazooker and that would round out my main line up perfectly! Plus he just loved the peaceful nature of the mirror-universe trolls so much that it makes me sad to see him constantly forced into being a villain.

You know what I think. I don't think they're going to have a special 11th element for this 11th villain. I wouldn't count on a Kaos figure of the Kaos Element. I think one lucky element will end up with two villains. While we just had Tae Kwon Crow confirmed for fire, I still have hope for Chef Pepper Jack.

What if after the big final fight, Kaos surrenders? And it gives you a code, you type the code in on the website somewhere and they send you a Kaos figure?

Cortex could be in the Crash Pack, and they're waiting until Comic-Con to reveal him. It would explain the price for the Crash Pack unless there are additional crystals in there.

I think that the bigger price is just because Crash comes with a level, but I might be wrong.
