She's holding it, use the gold armband as a reference. It's a common pose for cool weapon wielding poses that would actually break your wrist in real life because she's bending it far beyond what it'd support the entire axehead with.

I still want to know what she is. Doesn't seem to be a ghostly skeleton like Bad Juju and the face definately looks like a mask(look at her eyes - there's a white "ring" below them that sugests it's not eye sockets), though it could just be a really tiny skeleton/egg.

Do we know the genders?

Barbella is definately a girl, Chopscotch looks feminine/flamboyant. But only the former REALLY looks and sounds the part because of the female name, so I used "they" for Chopscotch on the wiki.

Barbella is female obviously, but we aren't sure about Chopscotch just yet. They could be either really.

Technically, no. Functionally, yes.

As funny as that is and your name only adds to the irony, I prefer to look as Barbella's weapon as a stone barbell made to look like two hammers. Wow the females this game are pretty unique and I love so much originality this game offers.

I guess it could be, but still, hammers? TFB PLEASE, there are other weapons that fit this Element.

The only thing I hate about the Tae Kwon Crow figure is that I wish his figure was a bit taller... He's super small, and he was as big as Krankcase in TT and there he is right next to his figure and he is super small. I really hope it is just a far away shot of his figure.

Well, his figure is down lower in the shot. If you move it up to be on equal standing as Krankcase they're the same height, if you don't include Krankcase's hat.

I'm really surprised at this potential wave 1 .

A lot of these charscters seem like outlander, late wave characters. Seems like a lot of villains too.

And wtf a light crystal already, wasn't expecting that . Although I suppose it won't be super useful till we get at least 1 light sensei to unlock some more attack options for the imaginators

Senseis unlock Battle Class-based 'Special Tehniques', not Elemental attacks.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that, since we're dealing with what seems to be "The most popular villains", Broccoli Guy is highly likely at this point.

I still think TT wrote him too much as not a villain. He never has any aggressive remarks or anything during the game, and talks more about other people and how he did cool things while imprisoned. Wouldn't be surprised if now that he's working with Chill Bill he gave up on fighting entirely.

We have a life brawler with crash and a life knight with Ambush so it needs to be a bazooker we have king pen so water needs knight and that leaves a brawler for light

But anyway, on the subject of the villain line-up. I can see Luminous working as a Brawler, since one of his quotes in Trap Team states he was an undefeated champion in Brock's Rumble Club.

So that would leave a Water Knight (which i'd say could wind up being Gulper or Cross Crow, maybe Chill Bill to some extent) and a Life Bazooker (which I'd hope Chompy Mage takes the role of over Sheep Creep or Broccoli Guy, but Tae Kwon Crow is proof that anything is possible at this point).

It'll depend on Crash keeping Life from having another Brawler. He unlocks the same technique as King Pen, soooo...

Considering how DK and Bowser were released seperately, I'm sure Crash will get a separate release, too

I am tired of people being mad about Crash's new design because really, it's based off of Charles Zembillas' original sketches of the character. It looks really good.

Considering this is Skylanders, we're aware. But change is baaad especially change from something they can't be assed to see a blog explaining how it was done, when people want to be driven by hating a series rather than logic.

I honestly don't think Crash looks too drastically different. Might just be Skylanders' graphics style or something.

Yeah, I mean, I don't think he would've been one of the first revealed characters for no reason.
But, I've noticed that, if the magazine leak really is Wave 1, that none of the Senseis in that wave are of the same Battle Class. And considering, again, if it is Wave 1, that Chopscotch is there, it leads me to believe Tri-Tip might be Wave 2... I can't see him being released any later than that.

I think we might get Tri-Tip and Ember in Wave One as well as who was shown here. Ember could be Wave 2, but I have a feeling she is going to be out at launch.

Ambush is a confirmed Knight. That was an error.

So my predictions for the remaining 3 villains are:

Chompy Mage (Life Bazooker)
Threatpack (Water Knight)
Luminous (Light Brawler)

However, I have a suspicion that Bad Juju will have switched Elements to Light to go along with Hood Sickle. So if that's the case, then the Air Brawler would probably be Dreamcatcher or something.

I have a feeling of the Water Villain being Brawl & Chain or The Gulper.

I honestly don't like any of them. Hate humanoids, so Bar is out. And Chop looks really really lame, just a ball holding a weapon. /: What happened to animals or mythical creatures or dragons. Humanoids/human parts everywhere.
Also, don't care for TKC at all. Krackencase maybe the only one i'm slightly interested in. Idk about this game anymore.

Well, you came in being told we were getting humanoids that can hold weapons. Shame they didn't take the risk with a quadruped, but that was a far out hope, no guarantee.

Just because they're not quadruped doesn't mean they're not mythical creatures or animals. About Chopscotch being "a ball holding a weapon", this was made in all of the games, and, personally, I like this style of Skylander.

Wait, is it possible to get the Argos catalog on like an app or the website?! We could get super clear pictures!!

I mean, I don't really mind the over abundance of Humanoid Skylanders all that much. I'm one of those weirdos that likes the bipedal Skylanders the best. Although... a lot of them look a bit generic this time around.

That's just a symptom of the anthrocentric gimmick, it was to be expected in this entry. Hopefully we get a return to quadrupeds and more interesting creatures in the next one. Although that will be a VV game, so... maybe not.
