They should've added some kind of fluorescent red paint on the eyes

The design looks good, both in TT and SI.

I'm glad they include as I have always love this villain.

However, like I said in general disucssion topic, from a lore point of view, the element variation is a bit dissapointing. Elements are supossed to be something inherent to skylanders, they cannot be exchange as if they were t shirts. They should com eup with a godd explanation for this.

They probably wanted to make him dark in the first place but they needed to even out the roster.

I just can't wait to find out his catchphrase :3

It will either be one of the following!

"The slice is nice!"
"I reap what I sow!"
"All good in the hood!" (does he actually say this??)

I guess he'll say:
"Now you see me, now you don't!" and teleport while doing so.

They could just edit his villain vault line and use "Blink and you'll miss me!" too. Rolls off the tongue better.

Real mystery is Bad Juju for me. People didn't do enough research on her trap lines on the wiki so aside from the obvious voodoo puns I can only guess "Get a charge out of this one!"

Hood Sickle is one of my TT faves, so I'm happy. Now to get those speed spiffs.

Oooh, it's also hard to see in most photos, but Hood Sickle still has his purple skin, though it's now only visible on his arms. Whatever changed his element didn't make him any less unliving.

Seriously... why does he have purple arms?

He's undead with humanlike skin. Blood circulation isn't a thing. Same why Hex and Fright Rider have blue skin instead of green.
And it's not just putting two and two together, in Cynder Confronts the Weather Wizard, Hex temporarily gets her circulation back after having some of her Undead energy taken and it turns blue again in veiny motions.

Even though some are upset that Hood Sickle changed elements, I for one actually get what they were going for. Medieval executioners were very dark and sinister so it actually made sense for him to be dark. Also let's not overlook that even some others may have done the same like undead Arkeyan or who clearly was meant to be a light character only this guy genuinely changed his element. I am still glad he got in as I actually gave up on him when was announced and now anything is possible.

Paint wise for his eyes, the glow effect works better with yellow fading to red than white fading to red. His eyes in the artwork look completely white with a red glow around them, which would look strange with paint.

Oh yea, I forgot about those AFK messages Villains said in TT! I remember Dreamcatcher was friends with Persephone before she turned good.

He doesn't really look too different to me except he now has a leather-like texture on his robes and gloves.

That said, I still really like his new look. All of the dark Skylanders released up to this point have cool designs, and he's no exception!

I really want a lightcore effect for his eyes...

The wiki is lacking in villain quotes big time; characters like Bad Juju only have the website AFK line, Broccoli Guy has a hilarious one that more or less shows he's not at any point interested in villany that's not there and I can't just paraphrase, and the rest just overall add to their characters but no one seemed to care. Too lazy to set up my X360 after replaying the games, just having 3 element traps and all; though I COULD dig into my embarassing let's play for a few since I always let them say it.

But really I hope we get Hood Sickle backstory and gameplay soon. He needs an explanation to change, even just "he walked into the Dark Realm qnd awakened his true power" or whatever.

That's pretty unnacurate. That's not an axe, that's a scythe(two if you want to be specific), and his theme isn't a "killer", he's an excecutioner - people who finished off the guys sentenced to death when no one else would, literally, get their hands dirty.

Also, the obvious Grim Reaper connection, who did originally carry sickles instead of the more common scythes.

He's an executioner and a grim reaper. So he executes people and then brings their souls to the afterlife.

Brawlrus uses a cannon which is a machine. And Brawl and Chain is a pirate. (And VV/TfB couldn't find anything better)

Never looked like he didn't have a head, even if he said it himself.

I still don't see how he fits dark element, he has skulls on his shoulders, looks like Grim Reaper and is undead! Other Dark element Skylanders are beings of pure darkness while he is just a normal dude.

But then again, none of the Trap Team villains had the "dark theme" going on...

Now I get it, he fits into the dark element becase his theme is so dark! Executing people because everyone else is scared to do it, now that's dark for a children's game.

Blackout is a sentient dream-thing and Knight Mare just happens to have that coloring. Not sure what's so pure darkness there.

Blackout creates black holes and Knight Mare creates shadow clones. Both have powers related to literal darkness. Whereas Hood Sickle's powers involved summoning undead spirits.

Still though, maybe Hood Sickle has new powers now.

Well, that's what I'm sincerely hoping, because if they are just Undead powers with Dark colors... Ooooh, boy, the salt.

Same goes for Tae Know Crow which didn't had any Element-themed power at all.

Well, since Tae Kwon Crow's gotten a weapon change, probably safe to say those stars he'll throw will be on fire or something.

As for Hood Sickle, not really sure what they could do about the little ghosts he summons.

Again, I've kind of read Hood Sickle as a sort of dark spirit, and not an actual undead. Sure, the ghosts are related to undead, but he himself is not undead.

Hood Sickle was technically a Dark Element in Superchargers. He had many dark-elemental related quotes such as "Feel the Shadows!"
His eyes were also pink. I believe his vehicle was Dark too.

I wouldn't really take the villain vehicle elements seriously in Superchargers.

Dragon Hunter's element was Tech.

Apparently some of the elemental boosts affected playable villains during races, and Tech specifically worked with Dragon Hunter.
