I guess that the level we've seen IS a different jungle level than Wumpa Island. Unless it has cacti and that weird cave/statue at the back.

On a related note, I'm the only one who think that Crash should have something to balance his extra lives? Like, a very low Health number. I think that having extra lives plus a high health can make the character a little unbalanced.

He does have very low health. From what we saw in the gameplay videos, it only barely goes above 100. Every single one had him die at some point.

That's pretty good. I have the sensation that in Nightmare Mode he becomes some type of one-hit wonder.

He was just level 5, he'll probably have around Trigger Happy's health at max level. It's still pretty low, especially for Nightmare, and not everyone will have the patience to farm extra lives and ruin time attack score.

That's of course assuming Nightmare Mode will be back... Which, it's been a thing in the series since Swap Force, I don't see why they wouldn't bring it back, so I guess that's a safe assumption.

I will admit that Crash's extra lives thing is pretty interesting, and I'm curious as to just how it'll work out. I mean, from what I've seen it seems to work almost identically like Night Shift's Back from the Dead ability, bringing him back after he loses his health with a low amount and damaging nearby enemies (which makes his swap bottom the most OP), so I'm wondering if the lives are an extra upgrade like his or if they're there from the start and he gets more as he upgrades or something.

Apparently the crates he summons just sometimes randomly spawn extra lives, and since it's his main gimmick, I'm guessing they'll be there from the start.

So all you need to make Crash a god is to find a quite stop and keep throwing crates until you get a ton of lives.

Confirmed a least in concept,in one of the interviews Lou said "we have higher difficulty levels for older players". Not going to remember which.

Crash revives with full health always,but as others pointed out,it's super low. He can get more extra lives from his crates but it's random.

I'm assuming there's gonna be a limit, and on stuff like Nightmare he's probably gonna get eaten alive.

I'm assuming that the max number of lives will be enough to make him have, in total, a medium to high number of Health Points. Maybe a multiple of 10.

I was kinda convinced he could't have more than three lives, but that way he would be even more unique and different from Night Shift or Astroblast (I think, haven't fully upgraded him yet and frankly don't see the reason to do it in SuperChargers).

Don't know why they keep advertising him as the only Skylander with a lives system, honestly.
Even Lou constantly repeat it.

Well, a true lives system. The other two Skylanders have revival abilities, which is different though it's the same mechanic.

Wave 1+2+3 were revealed on July 28th, and the back of the SuperChargers pre-order box, which was on July 9th, but sadly, today is July 9th, but it could still happen!

Well, that's going to take someone actually going to Gamestop to look for those, and a careless one putting it up early too.

Hopefully it will be by the same person as last year...

We're not gonna get anything until later this month, or next month.

I'm not saying exactly this week or today, just sometime this month, but then again you are right. They had less characters, but then again again, this year we only have ten more, (not including creation crystals). Anyway, we should at least know the Waves by the end of this month, revealing some names.

Gosh, it's been so silent and I'm getting desperate.

Just think it's better than SC, where we kept getting videos and articles but it was Guha Bala harping on over-the-top vehicle fantasy. Heck, I think Lou has used at least 3 methods of explaining the game to the outsiders, the only thing he ever repeats is how you can use the randomizer to create a character to hop right into the game.

That said I can't wait for August and September which on the last few games is when we have TFB office visits and interviews. Those are the best.

Potential changes aside we can barely see their faces and upper torsos (except for maybe the Life/Dark Bowslinger, the Magic/Light Swashbuckler and the Undead/Magic/whatever Smasher because of their poses and sizes).
Same goes for Pain-Yatta, Krankcase and the blurry figure.

We've still a lot to properly know and see but I'm optimistic we'll get something by the end of the month (like a Swashbuckler Imaginator posted by the Facebook or Twitter page, please).

I feel the exact same way. Sadly we didn't get any names and just small and low res pictures and we won't see half of the leaked characters until gamescom/poster reveal, since gs has been moved we can bet which one will come first.

I'm dying to know who that Eon looking swashbuckler is, I will probably put the eon helmet hat on them when I get them lol

I'm sure we'll get some kinda reveal this month. At least the waves so we'll find out some names.

Personally I'm really hoping we get to see a Bazooker soon. I think that's the only battle class we haven't seen any Senseis for yet.

Well pictures and blurry figures is what I meant. Bazooker is the only one we haven't even gotten a glimpse of yet.

Mainly I'm interested in finding out what elements each of the battle classes have. Once we have enough info on a certain amount of them I think it should be possible to figure out the rest via process of elimination.

Have there been any hints of survival arenas coming back? I've seen a video where there are now switches that make you fight a few waves of enemies when you pull it, and I hope that won't end up being the replacement for survival arenas.

Those are Battle Gongs. We haven't seen any side content yet, that would take being shown the hub and they take their time with those news.

Yeah Muffin Man we haven't seen any Bazookers or official figures for quickshots neither. Ho ironic both ranged classes haven't been shown much yet.

Oh yeah I saw this today on the amazon listing for Crash Edition. It actually breaks our theories, those are the palm trees we've been seeing in our last screenshots. Wumpa Island was redesigned a bit, then, so we might be looking at it and not an unrelated jungle level. Only thing that gets me is the puzzles parts with things that look like Skylands runes, but we'll need more screenshots to be sure.

hmmm...is that a smasher or a knight?

Actually, Chompy and Luminous, I think that might be a Knight. Comparing the two pictures of the Imaginator (this one and the Wimbledon one), the idle pose looks different. The one in the Wimbledon one has the pose of a Smasher, while the one in the Amazon one has the pose of a Knight.

Actually, I think they might have simply changed the color of the sky and maybe also the grass to match other Imaginators' promotional arts, like the Starter Pack one.
Palms may also be a coincidence, but they do seem quite suspicious.

We also shouldn't exclude a possible lighting change during the level.
