The answer is yes and no.
Yes, people regularly have their lives destroyed by villains, the Skylanders have gotten multiple times into life-or-death situations by the very people they save because of dumb ****, and there are way too many doomsday artifacts ready to be found by any idiot.

How so? The only thing that might require a reset is Battle Class, everything else can be changed at any time.

I keep forgetting that the event was June 12th, after the reveal of Imaginators and the event, so chances are, they probably haven't changed anything.

It was June 12th, right? Though the weird thing is, they were still called Devish, Barbarian, Dijini, and Archer then, but now they are back to Bowslinger, Smasher, Sentinel, and Swashbuckler, as seen at E3. This whole thing is confusing.

I just noticed it seems like they have a event monthly

E3 which was June 20th something and then theres Comic Con which is from July 21st to July 24th, and Gamescon is the same thing. If were seeing a event in September, then yay :33

The blog was posted June 12th. From videos of reveal day, the London event itself was the same day as the UK one, at the most a day or two before.

No idea. What's weird is that Tealgamemaster seems to have participated somewhere else entirely, because it's the newer version(but Golden Queen still had placeholder lines,etc), but if you look up specifically the London event what comes up is the one reported at these blogs that were for kids and their parents only.

So an official early demo of the game isn't legit to you?

Granted there are some things about it that can make it seem not legitimate, such as the placeholder artwork and the beta names. Though regarding the placeholder images the only ones who seem to have it are the villains, the Eon girl, and possibly the rusty pirate guy.

The placeholder art CAN be placeholder and thus not be in the final game and we could be looking at scrapped characters for all we know,but that it's real, it's real, and covering your eyes and saying that you're not seeing anything real is laughable at best.

Sorry, I may have worded myself badly since we are still in a Skylander context, but I still think this wasn't the right way to handle Creation Crystals.

I understand they want each Crystal to be a unique Skylander (they have even the sane price as Cores) but it just isn't the same, and not including some in-game storage system is just a terrible idea which clashes immensely with any possible editor concept.

We can take in-game pictures but it certainly isn't enough.
Parts are the same, yes, but what about sizes, colors and everything else...?
Should I take note of every single detail to be able to "switch" from one character to another?

I really hope we won't be locked to a specific Class, once we choose it, if all of this is true.

Even though I don't think it's likely, saying holding a single Imaginator could just mean one at a time. It doesn't really confirm or deconfirm anything.

Yep, that's just a cropped in-game shot placed on top of a purple Earth base.
Though that's probably the color Magic bases are gonna have.

Many other figures are fakes as well, such as that Dark Tri-Tip.

It isn't clear as of now.

We did see more molds for the same Element (both for the crystal itself and the capsule) but the majority of them was in promotional images or CGI screen's.

We only saw one toy mold per Element for the moment, and just for Fire, Undead and Life.

At this point I'm inclined to believe there will be more molds per Element, since it would help recognizing the various Imaginators inside them faster and also wouldn't force you to buy 10 identical toys if you wanted to keep a character for each Battle Class.

I'm pretty sure that Yroc might of been told that not all the villains were Doom Raiders, not that not all the villain were from Trap Team.

Anyway, here's a new list I put together:

Dark - Nightshade (Brawler or Ninja) or Tae Kwon Crow (Ninja)
Life - Cuckoo Clocker (Brawler) or Broccoli Guy (Ninja)
Light - Luminous or Blaster-Tron (Both Knights)
Magic - Pain-yatta (Smasher)
Air - Bad Juju (Swashbuckler)
Undead - Hood Sickle (Sentinel)
Undead - Wolfgang (Bowslinger)
Fire - Chef Pepper Jack (Bazooker)
Tech - Krankcase (Quickshot)
Earth - Golden Queen (Sorcerer)

Now, assuming that Hood Sickle is the 11th villain and the only one in the Sentinel class, I'm assuming that there will be one battle class that has two villains. Thus, I believe that Chill Bill will be the Water villain, and a Bazooker.

I really don't think that the Chompy-Mage can be in this anymore. I mean, his obvious classes are taken now (Sorcerer and Sentinel). The Chompy-Mage could make an awesome Bazooker, but I feel as if Cuckoo Clocker as a Brawler or Broccoli Guy as a Ninja is the obvious choice in the end, the former for obvious reasons and the latter because he would actually be the correct body type, or somewhat close to it. He could also create patches of large broccoli stalks that can hide him from enemies. Credit to someone on the main talk page for the idea.

In my personal opinion, I think Shield Shredder would work better as a Life Ninja than Broccoli Guy would. I mean just have him throw his sawblades and bada bing bada boom you got a ninja. Still holding out for Bazookin' Chompy Mage though.

Well, since this is probably gonna be a thing, here's my two cents on the whole villain thing:

Air: Bad Juju (Swashbuckler; Confirmed... sorta...)
Dark: Hood Sickle (Sentinel; Confirmed... sorta...; Unless they decide to keep him Undead in which case Tae Kwon Crow or Nightshade)
Earth: Golden Queen (Sorcerer; Confirmed)
Fire: Chef Pepper Jack (Brawler; We already kind of have a Fire bazooker in the form of Ka-Boom)
Life: Chompy Mage (Bazooker) or Shield Shredder (Ninja)
Light: Luminous (Knight)
Magic: Pain-Yatta (Smasher; Confirmed... sorta...)
Tech: Dr. Krankcase (Quickshot; Confirmed... sorta...)
Undead: Wolfgang (Bowslinger; Confirmed; And Hood Sickle as Sentinel if they don't change his element)
Water: Chill Bill (Bazooker) or Cross Crow (Ninja)

I only know that in his video he talks about villains "not being from Trap Team only".
It is unclear whether Lou meant playable villains or proper enemies, and I'm pretty sure yroc already said he isn't that sure about those informations anymore.

I stay true to my theory and the official informations that we got.
All the Doom Raiders plus the three unofficial ones.

Here's my personal idea of Battle Classes:
Golden Queen - Sorceress
Wolfgang - Bowslinger
Dr. Krankcase - Quickshot
Pain-Yatta - Smasher
Gulper - Sentinel or Brawler
Chompy Mage - Sentinel or Brawler
Dreamcatcher - Ninja
Chef Pepperjack - Bazooker
Luminous - Swashbuckler
Nightshade - Knight

I'm still not sure about any of them but I think they could work in different ways, if handled properly.
The Chompy Mage could use two living Chompy Puppets to fight and also transform into his Mega Chompy form.
