Well, we knew there were going to be specific sets of parts, glad there's a full thing for them though.

Although, the similarity to the microtransactions from Superchargers is kind of making me worried.

I've decided I'm going to wait until I unlock all Imaginator options before I actually attempt to make character I intend on keeping in their crystals... And before I work on a new series on YouTube where I attempt to make characters from other franchises in the game.

My plan is if I don't have the part I need, i'm just going to leave it starry until I find it.

I know I won't be able to find my Fire Character's Catchphrase until Jet-Vac's level...

Yah that's my plan too, I'd rather have most of the customisation options available before I start making my own characters.
So I'm playing the game through with senseis first , but also with imaginators needing to be at certain levels before being equiped with some items I might not have a choice but to at least make a baseline character at the start.

So we know that Hex' head is called Witchy Ways and for some reason can be unlocked by the Magic Imaginite.

Hex's original element is Magic, it's actually really clever in hindsight! She also has an entire elven subspecies that seems to be magically gifted since in Return of the Dragon King there's another tiny-eared elf with pupils like her.

I'm thinkin Misticat is a Ninja or a sorcerer

This is truly great. I love how even Creation Crystals give special parts.

Mysticat is the one I'm intrigued about. He reminds me of Scratch for some reason, but I can almost guarantee this will be a Light or Magic Sorcerer, but we'll have to see. I marked him and Wild Storm down in my checklist :3

Huh, checking Nintendo World Report's footage - Golden Queen does have an updated model, but she appears with her TT one in the select screen .-.

Mysticat sounds really interesting.

Anyway, the website updated with Ember, Wolfgang, and Ambush, but Crash is not there yet. Not sure if this is old news... but, oh well.

The part sets resemble the sets from Superchargers which could be bought for IRL money. Honestly,if it's the mother of optional and just a fast unlock, could care less, Battlecast is doing quite fine with that format. But with the creation crystals unlocking parts too, it's getting a little expensive.

The difference with Battlecast is that you get actual physical things that unlock things in the game. Like Skylanders. The microtransactions are there, but they're usual F2P money for cash, not locking actual items away.

Which Superchargers never did. It was also a fast unlock,10 bucks for a chest to save time grinding for gearbits, which is a stupid exchange when you don't spend even 40 minutes getting those 10k gearbits,but it's there.

In general it's more acceptable to have microtransactions from a F2P game, not an 80$ game that also expects you to buy additional 20$ items.

Great work Luminous! So, Wild Storm is definitely that Air Knight, and Mysticat is probably some Magic character.

Oooh, we talk a lot about soundtrack and gameplay, but the sound direction is easily as important if not more than a significant part of them. Nothing beats a good crunch when you punch the thing,or great voiceover to compliment a story.

Chill Bill was playable even if he still was on the radio though. This doesn't deconfirm anything, unless it's continuation to their story and they've given up on fisticuffs.

Hmm, I was predicting a Chill Bill Sensei. Guess it's pretty unlikely now.

I am predicting Dragon Hunter as the Dark Villain actually. I can tell that Dragon Hunter is a Dark Element. I think it will be between Dragon Hunter, Nightshade, Tae Kwon Crow and Mesmerelda. I hope it's Dragon Hunter though.

I really doubt we'll ever see Dragon Hunter again, since he's basically scrapped content.

I think it's Nightshade or if they would listen to the fans Mesmeralda.
