So, I was watching this video by PortalPowerTV, and he was creating a Life Knight. As soon as he gets to the Headgear, I noticed something when he scrolled over the "Pharoah's Pride" headpiece. It said, "Awarded by Golden Queen", meaning, our new Sensei fellows unlock special parts for our Imaginators!

So this got me excited, so I kept digging around, going further back in the video, and when he gets to tails... I see this



Awarded by Mysticat?

Clearly this is a new characters name for this game, and sounds pretty great! What are your thoughts?

Also, another thing I noticed is that Imaginite Crystal's themselves even unlock customization parts! Cool huh?

That the senseis unlock parts we knew(that's why chests show up in the vault when they're used), but it's definately an amazing asset that we can see who gives what with that tag. We could be through with the Skylander list much faster than waiting for them to reveal if they don't take that out by the next con : P

Nice find. If the artwork theory is anything to go off of, Mysticat sounds like the Magic Sorcerer and Wild Storm kind of sounds like the Air Knight Sensei in the trailer

Mysticat don't really sound like a name for a skylander , it sounds pretty fan made but what I'm sure about is that the design is going to be great !

We are not getting to create quadrupeds.

They never said anything about not getting quadruped Senseis.

Mysticat and wild storm sound like skykander names.

I think it's also possible these could be non playable characters you get quests from and give you these specific awards too though .

But the thing that makes me believe they are Skylanders is because it said Awarded from Golden Queen, and she is playable, which I believe means these two are actual Skylanders.

That it were true, that it were true. The senseis' gimmick is weapon wielding like in TT. A quadruped's not gonna wield a staff.

Those definitely sound like Skylanders names.

As for quadruped Senseis... I doubt it. I mean, I guess a Skylander designed like Blades could be classified as a Knight perhaps, but it's pretty unlikely.

Just an idea seeing how it say Wild storm and it saying wild storm sword

Interesting to note the spelling, both WildStorm AND Wild Storm are used; perhaps this will be corrected in QA before release.

We know he has a tail, he could wild it with it.
Or he could hold it in his mouth, or have it tied to his back.

I think it's highly unlikely as well, but there definitely are ways to have quadrupeds use weapons.

That's amazing, nice fing Luminous! I can't wait to see Mysticat, he or she will proobably be my favorite Skylander judging by the name Wild Storm is most likely the Air Knight we saw. The hype is building up!

I had a look through some different videos but most of the people don't scan over the locked parts , so I only saw a couple more parts that were unlocked via imaginite crystal ownership. No character ownership ones.

We'll have to request some one to scan over all the locked parts next time lol.

What about through others
's wings are in it, I saw it in the trailer
's horns in the ear options menu

The availability of Past character pieces don't appear to be tied exclusively to figure ownership. They all just say theyre unlocked from an imaginite chest/crystal.

its possible that adding a kNightlight could unlock those wings, but they're going to be available as random imaginite awards anyway.


I don't think they would have put the work in to tieing certain pieces unlocking to old characters though. I'm expecting something simpler like just earning imaginite by portalling in your collection of Skylanders.

Knight Light's wings are unlocked through Light Imaginite.

Can't see it anywhere in that video. There should be a Print Screen (PrtSc) button on your keyboard you can use, then paste (ctrl+v) into an image editor and save as a .jpg or .png, then upload to imgur or a similar site.

OMG! This is HYPEEE! Did they scroll over it? Was it already unlocked or was it not, because I think the only way we will know for sure is if it was scrolled over and not unlocked, scrolled over and it WAS unlocked, because we could know by the name.

Keep in mind Senseis don't unlock their entire sets. Tri-Tip's horns don't have his tag.

I had the weirdest dream about Mysticat and Wild Storm getting confirmed. Wild Storm was the character from the trailer, but had a whole different name. It was weird. Mysticat was probably weirder though. She was a pinkish purple cat who could transform into a floating head... I don't even know honestly.

Wasn't there a notification after you put a Sensei on like "Imaginite chest unlocked, check it out in pause menu" or something?

But I don't think that's hinting at Blaster-Tron. Even if he is the Light Sensei, why would they make him a knight? I mean, Wolfgang as a Bowslinger isn't too much of a stretch due to his harp, but why would they just up and make a futuristic robot a knight?

Yes, and the only thing that was there was one piece from Tri-Tip, and it was his headpiece. As far as I'm concerned, they don't unlock their weapons.

And how I know about Tri-Tip is because PortalPowerTV went to the Imaginite Vault and there was like, rewards and stuff from the Doomlander Boss Fight, and pieces from King Pen, Ambush, Tri-Tip, Crash, Wolfgang, and Golden Queen. Oddly enough, nothing from Ember, unless she unlock the Samurai Helmet, but there was a entire Samurai Set.

The awards thing is weird. Yroc used two Golden Queens in the Battle Gong video but only the second one unlocked the part in the vault.

Mmmh...

I know it would be an odd choice, but maybe each Sensei has 2/3 random unlocks which can happen every time you put the figure on the Portal.
Strange mechanic but it could work.
