You can name them, saw a name option in the SBAG video of Lou playing Imaginators.

As for switching them out, I'm sure that's what the Imaginator Vault is for.

I've said this before. THERE IS NO IMAGINATOR VAULT. There is an IMAGINITE Vault. All past gameplay has shown a notification whenever someone enters in a new Sensei, or finds a new chest that says: "A new chest has been added to your Imaginite Vault, Check it out.

THERE IS NO IMAGINATOR VAULT.

Will all vehicle parts be automatically unlocked in the game, or do you have to stay with the original vehicle with all it's parts from the last game?

With Skylanders Academy airing, I'm certain that the HUB will stay the Academy. Also, I don't think he'd know what waves characters are. For Activision, there isn't really such things as Waves. It's just when the stores call in for more characters or when they ship them out.

Anyway, they are called Creation Vessels now.
I don't like how they changed the music though. I liked the first music they chose for when you create a character.
It looks like you can make a raccoon tail. There's a stripey one and you can adjust the width.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...I see how Crash's life system works now. He's still going to retain the RPG style health meter that all Skylanders have, but he actually starts off with three lives. If he's defeated in battle, he loses one life. So, basically, Crash has three lives. A crate that can explode may also have an extra life!

So that was this years E3 huh? It was better than the one for SC & TT because we got more characters and Crash a character I'm extremely hyped about. (not like DK & Bowser who I hated) I still think the presentation for SF was the best one because we got TONS of new characters. I hoped to see more than Ember, Ambush & Wolfgang since they got leaked in the last days, but they're still great and I really hope they're all in Wave 1. (my wallet doesn't)
So the next event we know for sure is gamescom and that's happening at the start of August, right? I'm sure we'll get a bunch of leaks while we're waiting, but I doubt that we'll get any official reveals except for maybe one or two new characters. I have to sleep now, it's far too late here.

Lou said in a YROC video that wings are just cosmetic. And yes, you can use traps in the online racing, they have the same function as they do in Superchargers.

i'll try and ask people at e3 to ask the people if they'll be at SDCC. if they have a SDCC booth then it's certain there will be a exclusive.

Yep, I think this will make angelg a bit sad but he confirmed wings to be purely cosmetic in another video as well.

This still doesn't exclude flight as an Air upgrade.

I'd also like to point out that the Imaginite Vault's option appears in the creation screen: what's the point of having an option to showcase our parts when there are already 20 menus where you can see them all...?
Sounds fishy, right...?

An entire menu dedicated entirely to viewing and opening special Imaginite Chests...?

Not adding a way to save at least a certain number of our Imaginators would be a really bad choice, but this one sounds totally nonsensical both gameplay and design-wise.
