100% of the reason I'm excited for this is to be able to play the original crash without having to deal with that horrendous save mechanic. Like just thinking about how much has changed since 1996... This is going to be insane if they really are doing a full ground up remake.

Glad to see they're remaking the Crash trilogy. I remember having to play without saving since I didn't understand how saving worked, so hopefully they'll fix that flaw.

There's a **** ton of Crash fans that aren't happy about this.


Similar to how MLP fans weren't happy about Equestria Girls, and Baulder's Gate fans weren't happy about the first propper D&D RPG for the PC in a decade. It's called Gen Whinnery.

I've been dying to try the Crash games, so I'm psyched!

Skylanders Crash looks kinda creepy though, so I'll probably just get his figure and not the game.

Which could be nice (I mean the Ratchet & Clank reimagining was a hit despite bearing the shackles of being a movie tie-in game), but the fact that a development studio hasn't been named concerns me. For all we know, ActiBlizz and Sony could pass it off to a mid-tier studio like Beenox, which would make the quality questionable. <.<;

Alternatively, if Sony really does handle the development and ActiBlizz just publishes it and doesn't touch it in any way, we could be looking at something great here.

It's Vicarious Visions, iirc from the PS article. And without the ability to shove their opinions on the style like they do with Skylanders, it's most likely going to look great.

It makes me happy to see so much positivity towards changes made in a franchise. It's refreshing from seeing all the rage that had happened when Spyro was rebooted.

But then again, that was a reboot, and this is a remastering. Maybe that's the difference.

Crash is also mostly the same appearance, they just got his hair more tidy and bigger and his fur thicker. Spyro changed even in color, not to mention the face - everyone mentions the face enough, no matter how many times the graphics updates subtly improve it.
