We call Spyro a Skylander, we should do the same for Crash...

If the Crash thing isn't Crash Bandicoot, I can see a ton of jokes happening each year about Crash being a Skylander. The Crash cycle could still happen...

The term is Guest Star for characters that aren't from the canon. Unless Crash is permanently relocated in his backstory, he's like Bowser and DK in that they're just around to lend a hand.

Doesn't Crash repeatedly trust Cortex over dumb things because the plot is funnier that way? I don't really remember, anything that's not gameplay from Twinsanity and some others just disappeared from my mind over the years.

From what I remember, he only teamed-up with him in Twinsanity and some parts of Titans.
That being said... Crash is Crash.
Coco and Crunch weren't that happy to have him by their side, and I sincerely hope Eon is wiser than him.

He did trust Bowser but that was a rather desperate situation, doesn't seem to be the case this time.

I wonder if two of the Sensei turn out to be Crash and an amiibolander, meaning Light and Dark would once again be restricted to one character each, and the 11th Villain is Cortex... If that's the case, I may end up double-dipping for both PS4 and Wii U, especially if my PS3-owning friend gets the game (assuming that both our PSes...es...are able to link up for online co-op).

He was recruited for power rather than trustworthiness. I don't remember most of Unexpected Allies, but Eon did it out of desperation while Buzz and Mags bribed him with the Clown Cruiser for him to stay in line.

If I sit down at my desk on Tuesday and find Crash AND Cortex are coming to Skylanders, I'll fall out of my seat in shock. Just behind Bowser, Cortex is my favorite character in all of fiction. I find it funny how my two favorite fictional characters who aren't even in the same series could both be in one game. I would just need Crash and Cortex to work on all systems and come out in single packs, and then I'd be the happiest guy alive.

Also, more evidence for Crash and Cortex being multi-system: Spyro works on all systems and has since the first game. A LOT of his games were on the Playstation. Heck, some of his games were ONLY on the Playstation.

You could probably show half the people who hate Skylanders more than anything some random gameplay from a Skylanders game with Crash in it (none that makes it obvious it's a skylanders game and not the new Crash game) and they would say it looks cool or it at least looks like a decent diablo-esque game, but if you tell them it's Skylanders afterwards they'll say it's the worst game ever and it sucks more than anything. You can tell by the way some of the salty haters are ranting that half of them haven't even tried the game out.

This series killed their childhood's hero by turning him into a deformed monstrosity!
What else would they need to know?

The funniest thing is the majority of these "fans" must be rather mature if Spyro was part of their childhood, yet they are acting more childishly than the average Skylanders customer.

He didn't asked directly for him, he simply sent an help request across the multiverse: Bowser and Donkey Kong happened to answer (Crash might be late for that very same party, after all), because Nintendo would have probably never let Mario or Luigi cross-over in this series, and I'm sincerely happy since the two we got suits Skylands much more.

Bowser most likely saw the opportunity to conquer a new kingdom but had to team up with the Skylanders to defeat the current Emperor.
The rest is history.

Oh man, Sony's press conference is tomorrow (or if you're on the East Coast, two days). Can't wait for the big bombshell to be dropped harder than Firefly!

That'd take A)Spyro being the original one and not a possible reincarnation OR actually LOS Spyro as the comics hint and B ) Special dialogue in his level if you play as Crash. It'd be pretty cool having both be real, we haven't seen custom dialogue since Giants and even then just the names being uttered change.

Do you think Crash will talk?
He technically can, but only did it once in the entire series.

All Skylanders talk but, coincidentally, both Skymiibos don't so guest-stars might follow special rules alltogether.

Judging by Bowser and DK he probably won't or will yell something small every now and then, just like Rayman going "yeah!" randomly in the newer games despite not talking otherwise.

I guess that would be a nice way to handle him.
Kinda like certain Skylanders which didn't talk in SA but still said something every now and then (like Trigger Happy and Gill Grunt, I think).

Hearing him talk properly would kinda be like those very obscure old cartoons episodes or movies where certain characters suddendly started to talk after years of silence.

But guys, Crash can totally speak, remember?

So as everyone knows, there's been a leak that Crash Bandicoot will be in Skylanders Imaginators. If this is true... will this mean that instead of Skymiibo we will get Crash?
